Niantic aired Pokémon Go in 2016, and it went VIRAL. The game’s 7th Anniversary is on the cards. Niantic launches exciting challenges, events, and rewards on every Pokémon Go Anniversary. This time around, there are going to be multiple boosts, Shiny Kanto Legendary Birds in 5-star Raids, costumed pocket monsters, and the rest is yet to be unveiled. However, the rarest pocket monster, Kanto, is the highlight of this year.
You are provided with a unique mission in Step 1 of the All In One #151 Masterwork Research. What is it? You have to win the Platinum Kanto Medal. An elite prize for this is a handful of Ultraballs, but collecting the accompanying medal requires far more than collecting a few Pokémon.
You must particularly add Kanto pocket monster data to your Pokedex, and getting enough of them is hard work. Winning the Platinum Kanto Medal in Pokémon Go is a challenging task to achieve until you have served as a devoted Trainer for quite a bit. In this guide, we will look at how to get your hands on the Platinum Kanto Medal in Pokémon Go.

Getting the Platinum Kanto Medal
Trainers must add each of the 151 Kanto Pokémon to their Pokedex in order to receive the Platinum Kanto Medal in Pokémon Go. This requires finding Bulbasaur, Mew, and all the Pokémon between each one, so it’s no small accomplishment.
Luckily, most of these local creatures show up regularly and consistently throughout the course of the year. More uncommon types also pop up in unique, time-limited occasions like Raids.
It must be highlighted that in order to receive the Platinum Medal for the Kanto Region, you are not required to necessarily catch every 151 Kanto Pokémon. A monster can also be registered by evolving. As an example, don’t panic if you have not come across Pidgeot in the woods. Due to Pidgey’s frequent spawn, you have no trouble achieving the little one’s third evolution by cultivating 62 Candy.
Finding all Kanto Pokémon
We’ve got you, pal. Here are some quick ways to find all the Pokémon in the Kanto area to help bag that Platinum Kanto Medal.

- Kangaskhan: Pop-ups up randomly in events.

- Moltres: You can get these in raids ranked 5 stars.
- Tauros: Pop-ups up randomly in events.
