A Brief Recap Of Poong, the Joseon Psychiatrist season 1’s Finale
When the city’s soldiers interrogate the two at the entrance, Poong claims to be a honeymooner with Eun-woo before traveling to Hanyang to inform the king of the court maid’s passing. She appears delighted to be Eun-fictitious Woo’s spouse, and this was entirely his idea.
After hearing about the maid’s tragic passing, the monarch wants an investigation to be performed on his royal lady, who had passed away earlier in the play. Poong and Eun Woo affirm that she was killed, much like the deceased king, which is no surprise.
Commander Im connects the color scheme of the needles to the king’s demise back in the hamlet. Ji Han realizes that Colonel Im wants to take over the facility’s land to grow opium when his addictive medicine goes on sale.
Commander Im is not the type to wait for evidence to come up against him because he cannot be jailed without it. He, therefore, threatens the new state councilor with the needle to defend him and his farm. The way the cartoon bad guy believes he can harm the real-life bad guy is almost comical.
The threats do not affect the new state councilor, so Commander Im pleads. After collecting the latest batch of opium, he pledged loyalty to the new state council member and promised to turn over the needles.
General Im can prevent arrest because of the new state councilor’s protection, and he utilizes his newly discovered abilities to capture individuals of the clinic family. The clinic is in disarray when Poong and Eun-woo arrive from Hanyang, and Grandma, the only person still present, tells them about the arrests.
Grandma’s ramblings and an addicted prisoner’s ranting led them to Commander Iframe M’s location. The remains of those who did perish during the brutal assault can be located in the middle of a barren woodland.
And unfortunately, Commander Im is essentially killing the fugitives twice by cultivating heroin on the same land that is destroying the lives of people in their town. Poong and Eun Woo create a stun grenade to neutralize the family farm guardians, demonstrating the clinic employees’ incredible ingenuity.
When going to save Ji Han, Commander Im manages to capture Poong, but the men’s entrance from the local governor’s office prevents him from celebrating for too long. As Commander Im is trapped, he tries to bargain for his release, but his humiliating demise is brought on by being shot by an assassin or Shin’s arrow.
Woo Even after passing away, the clown is still clinging to his morphine plants. The needles come to Poong after Commander Im is killed, and he presents them to the monarch as proof, along with a ledger outlining the dubious dealings involving Im and the new state council member.
Ji Han also makes a separate trip to Hanyang to speak with the royal doctor, an old workmate, and accomplice in poisoning the deceased monarch. Sadly, the royal doctor won’t oppose the new state councilor since he is too afraid of him.
After realizing the previous king had been poisoned during his last meal, the king wants the same meal to be made for all of the ministries. The new state counselor keeps his bowl unattended while another minister tucks into their meals, which suggests that he’s the only person who knows how the deceased king was poisoned.

The other politicians start amusingly shoving their dishes aside when they learn of the poisoning. The new state councilor tries to slip a letter onto one of the guards despite being immediately apprehended. When an assassin approaches Poong at his residence, Ji-han is cut while attempting to defend him.
The bullets of a covert sharpshooter stop the murderer before he can cause more harm. Poong is driven by a passionate desire to see justice served for everyone injured by the new state councilor. Still, despite abundant evidence, both the second state councilor and the royal doctor vehemently deny all the allegations.
However, like all bad Joseon officials, the new state councilor is a fighter and will not give up easily. His supporters rush in to protect their lord, but they are dispatched almost immediately. The new state councilor takes the lethal plant out of his garments and eats it since he lacks other options.
As he passes away, he declares himself the most devoted citizen of Joseon and claims that everything she did was for the country’s good. Following the dissolution of the council of evil, the king reinstates Poong in his previous identity and appoints him as a royal physician.
In contrast to Ji-han, who quickly declines the king’s offer to go back to the doctor’s office, Poong hesitates, and Shin-woo is aware that this is due to Eun Woo. Shin Woo, who intends to leave Joseon, counsels Poong not to suffer needlessly in a place he doesn’t even want.
Shin-woo was dissatisfied with the perks of serving as the new state councilor’s child while others died without cause. After a time jump of four months, Poong resolves to stay by the emperor’s side and nurse him to recovery. He then goes to the hospital.
Everyone is ecstatic about his homecoming, but Eun Woo is undoubtedly the proudest. Poong can still not conduct acupressure, but he is content to work as a psychiatrist and live with his growing family. Now Poong has everything lined out for his proposal to his life’s passion.
However, her father shows up just as Eun-woo is getting ready to be engaged the next day. They needed to leave there immediately because he was transported to another village.
