Hajime no Ippo Chapter 1433 will finally see Ippo return to the ring and help Ryo practice in his future match. However, the last chapter also revealed something disturbing about Ippo; Ippo has been regressed as a character.
The guy who was once said to be able to enter any college due to his intelligence can’t put two and two together.
This is not a phenomenon related to Ippo; even Goku regressed as a character to have the new audience interested in him.
Sadly, it doesn’t work that well and ends horribly for the most part. But Ippo will have his redemption arc as soon as he gets an opportunity to enter the ring again.
The author has given a subtle nudge for that, too, with the latest cover of the manga mirroring one of the first few covers of the series. But, it is also pretty clear that it won’t be in this volume that it will happen. Most likely, we will see in the next volume a reason for Ippo to return to the ring.
Hajime no Ippo Chapter 1432 Recap
Hajime no Ippo Chapter 1432 had Ippo racking him out after a long time and a long time. He wanted to help Ryo with his upcoming match but didn’t know who would be the best sparring partner for him.
He kept looking and found no one who would fit the bill for this; the thought of him being the one didn’t occur to him.
However, Ippo isn’t the only one who is ransacking his brand for the upcoming match. The coaches at the gym are also worried about how they will find someone for Ryo as his sparing partner.
Even if they knew that Ippo could be the one for them, they couldn’t ask a retired boxer to come and do the part.
However, they will soon find themselves being face to face with one of the old faces they used to put faith in. Ippo might have been out of boxing, but he never left the gym or cut the connections he made.
He has remained close with all of them and has even kept up with his training regime all this time.

Hajime no Ippo Chapter 1433 Spoilers
Hajime no Ippo Chapter 1433 will see Ippo spend time with his fellow boxer and come to the realization that he can help Ryo after all.
Ippo has not gotten the confidence that he should have through all his fights; no matter how nice, he should have some backbone. His history as a boxer is proof that he can rely on himself and stand against big challenges.
But, his character development has to be kept tight (and sometimes even regress). Without it, he will get to the point where he will no longer grow as a person.
And a sports manga with a character not needing character development doesn’t do well for anyone. Still, it would be nice if Ippo got some of his intelligence back and started using his wits again.
