NCIS Season 20 Episode 17 release date is what fans are hoping to know more of after the series has just given us the most insane plotline to dwell upon in NCIS Season 20 Episode 16 on 13 March 2023. The series throws light on a police procedural drama series where we witness the agents working at Naval Criminal Investigative Services. We see both the military and the police aspects of the drama here.

Back in NCIS Season 20 Episode 16, titled Butterfly Effect, we saw a garage that was full of dead bodies. Although, when the force arrived and tried to understand what happened, the people inside it were still alive. Turns out that these folks were actually poisoned with an aerosolized version of the cow sedatives. I mean, there were not any deaths at all, but a lot of questions remained unanswered.

The force now has a new task in front of them, which is to determine if this was some sort of a terrorist act or experiment before the final attack actually lands. Later, we see the victims of this tragedy at the hospital. It also includes Navy Captain Boggs.

Then we see a mustachioed guy as well as another young woman whose name is Dorothy. She is very upset about her cell phone being missing and, when asked about the attack, answers that she only remembers a white van driving off before that. Soon, the truth behind this attack was revealed.

NCIS Season 20 Episode 16 Recap – Butterfly Effect

Turns out that the guys were planning only to knock the contractor out and then copy his key back to the place where Miller is. Till he’s unconscious, they will be able to copy the key which he has. Although, everything went wrong, as we saw, and the guys accidentally ended up gassing everyone who was in the same area as them.

When the team tries to pin down who must be behind the piece of land and robbery, all the arrows point at Phillip Legrand, all the victims who have been robbed by him claim that they have been asleep throughout the incident, and this is something crystal clear.

Later, Torres and Knight go to the house in order to investigate and find out that there is a fountain and also a maid who has been sedated, meaning the thief was inside. Upon further investigation, it turns out to be none other than Dorothy herself.

Later, she explains that she is the daughter of Legrand and has bonded with her father’s techniques well enough. He teaches chemistry in high school, and they both used to travel in a camper van all around the States. Although, the duo has an ethical code and only robs people who are corrupt and can afford to lose money. They also do not take more than they need, just to make sure that they get through the road fine.
