Our protagonist is Ang that had been transported to a time sixty in the future after his squad was wiped out by a monster of an unknown category. Everyone in the training thinks that he will fail the exams due to his lack of physique and lack of stamina. But what makes a soldier valuable in combat is the ability to use demonic cores. Ang was confident he would be able to pass that test easily but due to some interference he barely made it.

Demonic Evolution Chapter 6 had Ang evaluate his new body and how well it functions compared to his old body. Though his moves were impressive to others, he was unsatisfied with how much he could do with the new body. He could hardly use any of the moves that were available to him in his past body.
The star cadet was not sure what to think of it and was jealous that he was stealing the spotlight. The higher-ups that have been assigned to watch them are also impressed by Ang’s footwork and his dexterity, while one of them just grunts at how he moved. But this moment is short-lived as 1 finned shows up from the ground.
Knowing what his body is capable of, Ang was unable to do anything against the monster. He also got to experience what an ordinary soldier feels in the face of adversity; being unable to make a move and do anything remarkable. The monster that had sprung up decided to kill them all and leave when the elites showed up.

And when Ang comes back to life, he will have to figure out how he is going to work on his body so he can fight like he used to. He already has allies that think highly of him, along with seniors that will help in his growth. But the main question is how long it will take for Ang to notice the demon inside him.
