Along with the grand cash prize, the winner will also get an exclusive chance to have one of their creations featured on the menu at Joanna Gaines’ bakery named, Silos Baking Co. As host, Joanna has assured viewers that it is going to become a bigger competition.
Silos Baking Competition is launching as a full series after there was a successful release of a one-hour special show in 2022. Not only that, but the couple has since increased the cash prize from the show’s original cash prize of $25,000.
The new series follows a new format where the home cooks will be divided into groups of five to they would compete against one another. The winner of each episode will move ahead to bake in the final round for the grand cash prize. Let us find out who won The Silos Baking Competition.
Who Won The Silos Baking Competition?
Annie Paul won the title of the winner during the first-ever Silos Baking Competition in Waco, Texas. While talking about her big winning moment, Annie admitted that she did not think about winning and how it took a while to sink in while calling it a surreal experience.
Annie Paul also talked about the grand prize, and Paul revealed that she was given tons of awesome opportunities by bosses and supervisors when she was getting started. However, Annie has some other plans as seek as she feels like she and her husband need to use that money to give back to help people train in a bakery or partner with someone, and they want to give back to the youth.
Annie has been offering a pre-order pickup once a month as she has been posting a menu on her website and social media. She stated that she would love for local people to know, even though it is not a stop-in bakery, that she does those pre-orders. Annie explained that she does not want to waste, so this allows them to make just the right amount. Annie also reminded them that after their second child is born, they might expand that.

Who Is Annie Paul?
As Annie Paul emerged victorious in the Silos Baking Competition in 2022, Annie is the owner of a wholesale bakery, A P Baked Goods in Zeeland and recalled how she always had a sweet tooth while adding how when her mom or grandmother would be baking, she would just wait and them sneak for some cookie dough. Annie admitted that when she was just 7, she wanted to bake on her own and even asked for an Easy-Bake Oven, but her parents told her that she could use the regular oven, and that is when she fell right in love with it.

Annie Paul has earlier worked in bakeries and restaurants and has even baked beautiful wedding cakes and other baked products. Annie recalled how when she got married, her husband further encouraged her, and when they were house hunting back in 2019, they found the perfect space to open their licensed kitchen, and that is how she went for it.
Who Is The Host Of Silos Baking Competition?
The popular six-episode competition is hosted by Chip and Joanna Gaines. Joanna Gaines is a culinary expert herself who has also published three cookbooks. Janna has stated that the show is her actual dream come true.
Throughout the season, Joanna has been joined by guest judges, including Casey Corn, Andrew Zimmern, Zoë François, Becky Shepherd, Abner Ramirez, and Megan Mitchel. Chip Gaines has made a few appearances this season.
