Shore further added that at the end of the day, it would be the pair’s unique points of view that guides them forward. Earlier in season four, the pair found out they were having a baby. Sadly enough, their happiness was short-lived after Lea developed blood clots that led to a tragic miscarriage.

Paige Spara plays the role of Lea in The Good Doctor. Believe it or not, the actress was initially meant to only appear in two episodes of The Good Doctor. What Happened to Lea in The Good Doctor?
As Shaun and Lea recently found out that they are having a boy! As the pair are starting to plan on a paint color for the nursery, as they are all excited to welcome the little one, but viewers are in for a huge shock after Lea seemingly had to survive two intensive surgeries.
Lea underwent intensive surgery as an ominous reminder, implying that Lea might end up losing the baby, and she and Shaun did not want that to happen. However, luckily Lea was able to survive the operation. While the scene left fans anxious about Lea’s health, she survived the surgeries.
Shaun and Lea recently met someone special after they came across an injured Border Collie. As the two soon became attached to the furry friend, their happiness was cut short, and viewers took to social media to say how devastating the scene was!
As Lea named the injured dog Buddy, the pair was ready to welcome the dog home once he recovered. However, the two were sad after his real family came and reclaimed their pet as Shaun and Lea bid goodbye to Buddy.
However, as the dog’s real name was revealed to be Cooper, he also represented a huge step for Shaun, who is now more prepared as he is all set to face the challenges of parenting once their little one is eventually born.
