The Story So Far On The Golden Spoon
Seung-Cheon stumbles out a weak justification to CEO Hwang after addressing the incorrect parent as “Dad,” barely defusing the situation. Seung-Cheon is so overcome with remorse and regret that he thinks this must be his due for switching lives and abandoning his family.
He searches for the street vendor’s grandma, who revives his spoon and grants him the opportunity to switch back; all he has to do is consume one meal at his original home. When Seung-ah arrives home, she finds him eating directly from the rice cooker, much to Seung-relieved Cheon’s tears.
Everyone transferred to top institutions after graduating from high school a year later, except Seung-Cheon, who had to repeat his entrance examinations. Seung-Cheon acknowledges that he kept Joo-hee from learning the uncomfortable truth because he liked her.
Joo-hee follows Seung-Cheon as he exits, admitting that she feels the same way for him, and the two embrace. Yeo-jin successfully persuades her father to evict the Seung-family family from the home and demand that they pay back their debt to pressure Seung-Cheon to switch lives.
Seung-Cheon invests a sizable quantity of money in stocks out of desperation but the shares he buys experience a sharp decline in value. Cheon has changed Joo-hee and Seung-Cheon to reunite at the chapel, where Seung-Cheon begs Joo-hee to recognize him even if he pretends to be someone else.
Seung-Cheon pulls her into a kiss as she assures him that she will always be.

Lee Seung-Cheon, a boy, born into an impoverished family, is essentially the protagonist of The Golden Spoon. He discovers a magical spoon that enables him to switch lives with his wealthy best buddy, but the trade-off is that he only gets three opportunities to change his mind.
He must then choose which of his two possible futures is worthwhile. He trades his life for a gold spoon and gains it. “Dirt spoon” Seung-Cheon discovers the enchanted and enigmatic golden spoon. The spoon has the power to alter his parents and enable him to have the lavish life of his dreams.
