One Piece Episode 1049 Recap
One Piece Episode 1049 saw Luffy insisting Momo fly up to the rooftop of Onigashima as the latter was scared of flying. Meanwhile, the battle between Kaido and Yamato continues and the former tells Yamato that nowhere where she goes, she will always be feared by the people as the daughter of the demon.
We also see a few flashbacks of Yamato running around as a child and hungry and scared. Whoever tried to help Yamato, Kaido had always put them down. Yamato did have friends but she always lost them such as Ace and the So-and-So Samurais. Kaido beats Yamato to the point where she loses her man-beast form.
Meanwhile, Luffy pulls Momo’s whiskers in the air to make him fly and successfully gets him to fly while he has his eyes shut down. Since his eyes are shut down, Luffy guides Momo to the rooftop, however, as they go through, Momo flies into several areas of Onigashima and has samurai and the pirates thinking if Kaido has gone on a rampage.
Finally, Momo makes up to the rooftop of the Onigashima and upon seeing Kaido, Luffy transforms into Gear 4- Snake Man and lands a punch on Kaido while Yamato also launches an attack with her Weapon which both of the attacks lands successfully on Kaido.
One Piece Episode 1050 Preview And Expectations
One Piece Episode 1050 is titled “Two Dragons Face Off! Momonosuke’s Determination” and the preview for the episode shows us Kaido and Momonosuke in a fight. From the preview, we see that Kaido has also transformed into his dragon form and we might see Momo gathering the courage to fight Kaido.
Meanwhile, the preview for One Piece Episode 1050 also shows us the different parts of the Onigahsima notably Nekomushi reverting back to his normal form and it seems like Peroline has beaten him.
