Starring Cho Seung -Woo, the drama Divorce Attorney Shin is all set to release a new episode this week. The story revolves around Shin Sing-Han, a greatly skilled pianist that turns into a skilled Divorce attorney and helps all kinds of people fighting their cases.
First aired on March 4th, 2023, this drama is directed by Lee Jae-Hoon, who’s known for popular shows like The Ghost Detective and Run On. This one-of-a-kind series follows our protagonist as he tries to solve each case his clients bring every day. From mothers fighting for their child’s custody to cheating allegations against a partner, if the client is sincere and in the right, Shin will go out of his way to make sure that they end up winning the case.
Although he solves everything will perfection, the driving force behind his career is hidden but seems to arise from a personal tragedy that we’ll only see as the show proceeds. Divorce Attorney Shin Episode 2: Recap
In the previous episodes of the show, we see Shin solving the case of the day, where a wife was accusing her husband of cheating on her. The defendant’s lawyer claims that his client was only practicing numerology by caressing another woman’s face and hands, to which Shin replies that he’ll be submitting a mobile filled with evidence to the court. Attorney Shin can save the cast as the ruling is passed in his favor.
A woman gets on a lift and is met with weird looks from others there. She stops right near Shin’s car. When Shin returns to his office, he informs everyone that he was able to win the case. His colleague teases him about his age, to which he replies that it isn’t easy to pass the bar exam when all the brain cells aren’t as active anymore. They discuss Lee Seo-Jin leaving the famous radio show.
Just as they stop talking about her, they are shocked to see Lee Seo-Jin walk into the office. She asks to speak privately with attorney Shin. She informs him about his husband asking for a divorce, and she wants it to proceed well. Shin lets her know that even if he tries, it would be hard to win since he’s roughly aware of her situation. He asks what her goal was to get out of the divorce, to which she replies that she only wants custody of her child.
Seeing that she is serious about her child, attorney Shin is ready to help her. Seo-Jin goes back to her home, where her husband demands that she leave. Later, Shin tries to get more details about Seo-Jin’s case. The day of the mediation arrives and both sides put forward their arguments. Shin informs the mediator about the toxic notes that her husband kept leaving for her for seven years, along with his stalker behavior.
When Shin meets Seo-Jin’s child Hyeon-u, he sees that the stress of his parents fighting was too much for him. When Hyeon-u has a breakdown at night, Seo-Jin wants to stop the case, but Shin convinces her to keep fighting for custody.
