The best in the class of the culinary world will be competing once again in Guy Fieri‘s cooking showdown, Tournament of Champions. Big names of the culinary world, like Iron Chef Stephanie Izard, Graham Elliot, and TOC champion Maneet Chauhan will be returning for the fourth season of the celebrated series.
First seen on March 4th, 2020, This series was created as a cooking competition for some of the well-known chefs from America and the world. All of them have been recipients of prestigious culinary awards like James Beard, Top Chef, and many more. Being the winner of TOC would give you not only the title of the best chef in the states but also a hefty cash prize of $100,000.
The show’s format involves making these talented chefs compete with other chefs randomly assigned to them. If they manage to win against them, they’ll be able to move on into the further rounds of TOC, but if they end up losing, they’ll be eliminated from the game. The most recent season of Tournaments of Champions has been airing since February 19th, 2023.

Tournament of Champions Season 4 Episode 2: Recap
In the previous episodes, all the chefs gather up at the TOC house. Guy Fieri announces the Randomizer combinations and the bracket allotments. After the complete bracket is showcased, the contestants gather to watch the first round of the competition, where Chef Jose Garces will be competing against Kelsey Bernard Clark.
Jose is a renowned chef who has been the champion of many cooking series. He has 15 restaurants to his name and is the author of 2 critically acclaimed cookbooks. Although Kelsey isn’t as famous as Jose, she has worked in several Michelin Star restaurants and has the restaurant that she started at the age of 23.
The randomizer now has a new category instead of time, called the wild card. This would allow one of the contestants to re-spin the wheel in hopes of getting a better ingredient. Both chefs cook great dishes, which are then judged by Iron Chef Alex Guarnaschelli, Chef Nancy Silverton, and Chef Andrew Zimmern. The judges taste the dishes, and it is the tough pick. The winner of the first round is announced by Jose Garces.
