Five Nights At Freddy’s is an upcoming horror film whose production got announced to start in April 2015. The film is produced under Blumhouse Productions in partnership with Striker Entertainment. The Blumhouse Productive is famous for producing thrilling, authentic horror films like M3GAN, Paranormal Activity, Insidious, Happy Death Day, etc.
The film’s lead cast includes Josh Hutcherson in the role of Mike Schmidt, the main protagonist; Matthew Lillard as William Afton, father of Mike; Marry Stuart as an unnamed villain. And Elizabeth Lail in the role of Vanessa, Piper Rubio as Abby Schmidt. The film is scheduled to be theatrically released this year on Halloween or by April 2023 in U.S. theatres. The film will release in two to three parts if the first movie does well at the box office.

On the first day of his shift, he discovers that animatronics come to life at night and kill anyone who’s left behind in the pizzeria. The film is said to be bone-chilling if it’s anything remotely similar to the horror video game. Friday Night At Freddy’s Filming Locations
The initial shooting of the film was set to begin in 2021. The film production and making got severely delayed due to issues in the script and a change in the director as Emma Tammi replaced Chris Columbus.
The filming began under the Bad Cupcake title at the beginning of February 2023 and is expected to wrap up the filming by April 6. Movies made under the Blumhouse production house are often made low-budget films, thus leading them to wrap up quickly in a month or two at maximum.
In the meantime, Cawthon also retired from his position. Most of the film is produced on the sets set up in New Orleans. The film is shot in different parts of New Orleans, Louisiana, U.S.A.
Chalmette, Louisiana, USA
At the beginning of February 2023, the production team and the cast set their camp in Chalmette. The site where the last battle of 1812 was fought is one of the locations where the cast and crew shot for some of the starting scenes of the film.
The Freddy’s pizzeria scenes of the film got shot in this area. The shooting is said to have taken place in a made-up set in an empty parking lot in Chalmette. The pizzeria is kind of similar to the Chuck-and-Cheese but with bone-chilling scary stories filled in it.
Laplace, Louisiana, U.S.A
The site famous for Andouille, which is smoked pork sausages, was the next stop for the cast and crew of the Friday Night At Freddy’s to set their camp in. The initial scenes of the film, which show an ice cream parlor with the rainbow sheep sign, were shot in a mall in Laplace. The cast and crew also shot a few other vital scenes involving the animatronics in the same mall. The mall’s name is a secret from the public.
Covington, Louisiana, U.S.A.
The populous city of Covington, Louisiana, is known for its beautiful art and culture. The city is surrounded by astounding sceneries that have been a part of several film shooting like The Best In Me, Beautiful Creatures, etc.

The next stop the production crew and the film’s cast moved to shoot for some of the vital scenes of the upcoming film was Tarrytown, Louisiana. Some vital scenes involving the lead and animatronics were shot in the Tarrytown area.
The surrounding sceneries for the shoot are tremendous as the place is famous for being Sleepy Hollow country.
Metairie, Louisiana, U.S.A.
The second last stop for shooting some parts of the film made by the production crew and the cast is Metairie. The city is famous for having a unique murals situated in different parts of the city. The location was perfect for shooting some of the scary scenes of the film.
Oakwood Centre, Louisiana
The last stop was made by the production crew and the cast to shoot some of the scenes of the film Oakwood Centre, Louisiana, with its perfect surrounding of the heart of Tees valley. The location is said to have several schools and buildings, which would be the best location to shoot some of the scenes requiring houses in them.
Where To Watch The Film
The film would be available for the viewers to go and see either in the Halloween month of October or the next year in the earlier months of 2024 in the theatres of the U.S.A.
