So it looks like we are getting a really good chapter this week, considering Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 220 Spoilers and Raw Scans; a peak chapter as one might say, although it is very heavy text-based, which means that this is translated very briefly by the leakers and this is also why a lot of details may get missed out or further clarified on Friday when the full translation is out, so please keep this in mind, and of course, we will cover the full chapter when it will be out as well.
So the chapter opens up by showing the Prism Realm as the cover page, and for some reason, I find it oddly refreshing to see the Prism in the full picture but it says that a player in the Culling Games named Suguru Geto, who is obviously Kenjaku has 309 points, so this leads back to when Kenjaku asked Sukuna to transfer his point before leaving off to Sendai, he might have gotten some points of his own.
The next page shows that Kenjaku is having a conversation with his Kogane, he also asks to close the entry of a certain new player into Culling Games, but surprisingly Kogane rejects it. Kenjaku reveals that Tengan’s barriers are essential to surpass the birth of all the curses, and there are four main Joukai that make the barrier curse technique more and more accurate in the Culling Game.
For additional info, Joukai means pure barrier, a superior barrier to the normal one. First and foremost I love that his Kogane has the brain stitches design, secondly, this also confirms that Kenjaku is not the game master, or maybe the gamemaster doesn’t even exist in the very first place.
I guess it is Tengen/ Kogane if anything, because yeah, it said that Kenjaku asked to close the entry of new players, but that was rejected by Kogane.
Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 220 Spoilers and Raw Scans
I know this was already stated by Tengen in the meetup, but some people like myself seculated that the game master existed as some player in the Culling Game, though that is obviously not the case here.

For more details on the Joukai part, it further goes on to say that the Joukai which are meant to enhance the precision of the Barrier Technique are the Imperial Palace, Star Corridor under Jujutst High, Yamakuni no Misaki Joukai, and Hidareizan Joukai.
We actually visit one of those four places in the chapter, but Kenjaku says that the Culling Game is a Bonkai made using the Joukai of Tengen barrier as the base model, even though there is no game master, it seems like Tengen could be deemed as one.
After the incident of Shibuya if the Joukais of the Tengen were released, then Cuulling Game would have ended up, and in addition to that could also be messed up with the plans of Kenjaku. For additional info, Bonkai is a superior form of the Four Tengen’s Joukai.

I am sure we can better sense of this info when the chapter finally comes out, However from what can I explain so far and gather off the spoilers alone, since these Joukai barriers were considered to enhance the accuracy of the Barrier Curse Technique, I guess their existence throughout the four spots in Japan, they heavily amplify the curse energy by the sorcerers utilizing the Jujutsu in Japan.
So without Tengans for Joukai, modern sorcerers would have seen more old and traditional techniques from thousand years ago, which is why it is stated that releasing these Joukai Barriers would have messed up Kenjaku’s plan since that would have messed up or reset all the sorcerer’s brain and curse energy I guess.
If I am interpreting it correctly, then yeah, these Joukai Barriers are the main reason why Jujutsu Sorcerers mostly exist in Japan only.
Two New Rules In Culling Game
Back to the spoilers, Kenjaku then warns Kogane to listen to him and close the entry of the new players in the Culling Game, and if not, he will forcefully end the Culling Game, will destroy Tengen’s Barriers, which we know serves as the base to Culling Game, and which is possible to do for Kenjaku because he has the Tengen now.
Kenjaku then explains to Tengen that he is making a bug on purpose, Kogane would choose the option that will make the Culling Game everlasting, but it finally drops the weapons and makes the rule, which bans the entry of any new player in the Culling Game from now on; specifically from 9:09 PM, November 18th, 2018.
So, that was the entire bug that Kenjaku was talking about in previous chapter 216, but to summarize the whole thing, now that Kenjaku has Tengen, who is likely under the control of his Curse Manipulation, like it is probably the old Tengen but can’t control itself.

As we find out that to make the Culling Game everlasting is the ultimate goal of Kogane, however, we also learned that the Culling Games are made of Bankai, which uses the Joukai Barrier as its foundation, and Tengen is the owner of these barriers meaning that she can destroy the Culling Game as well since Kenjaku is possession of Tengen.
So, hearing this dilemma, Kogane is forced to accept Kenjaku’s request into banning new Culling Game entries. Noticing the date of closing, also means that this is roughly two days after Sukuna took over Megumi’s body.
Moving on though, Kenjaku makes Kogane add another rule and orders Kogane to end the Culling Game when all the sorcerers except Geto who is himself, and Megumi who is Sukuna die.
Tengen asks Kenjaku why he is not just demolishing Joukai and ending the Culling Game, to which Kenjaku reveals that he will need those Joukai barriers to merge with Tengen. So that is why the merger hasn’t happened yet because he needed to do all these final preparations first, but now the Culling Game, won’t end until all players are dead except Kenjaku and Sukuna.
Potential Twin of Sukuna
The next page shows the mummified Sukuna and Kenjaku says he is gonna take this to Sukuna as a souvenir, but this was the design we see in the very first chapter of the series, and it is finally coming to play here, I can’t believe it.
https://twitter.com/MudassirKamran2/status/1646402945867735045
I think they are in one of the Four Joukai barriers, the last one, but what do you guys think this means, well I guess Kenjaku says that he is gonna take this to Sukuna as a souvenir, so this could like imply its an older body, and he might use that body as his final form, morphed into Megumi with the Ten Shadows, or maybe not.
I mean there is so much to speculate because of the fact that this body is existing while Sukuna is also existing, so, what if this is the body of Sukuna’s twin since that is a very popular theory, or maybe the last five fingers reside in there, or it could just be his old body whatever the case, I am all hyped.
Hana Is Alive and Everyone Is Here
The pages of the upcoming chapter are pretty much the Avengers assembling because yeah, this is such a peak reuniting moment I guess, but to start, we see Maki and Ui Ui, discussing that they need to defeat Sukuna in order to end the Culling Game and then we see Hana, turning out to be alive, thanks to Amai who saved her at the moment, and then he is eventually getting treated by Shoko and Yuta.
Yeah, Yuta is finally here, and we see him questioning Angel if they can switch vessels. Angel responds, “No”, which means that Sukuna is the only entity for some reason who could become a cursed object after death.
We then get some Amai and Yuuj backdrop, which is honestly such a nice and wholesome moment, I can’t wait to dive into that when the chapter finally comes out, there is also a bit in there where Yuuji says that he will eat anything and it shows Sukuna’s finger, so that could hint or foreshadow that Yuuji is gonna eat the remaining five fingers, or maybe not, but Shoko says that Yuuji is like a Cursed Object now, that is been dipped into the cursed energy of Sukuna.
I assume that this would mean that Yuuji still has the relative strength to fight enemies and utilize curse energy without Sukuna being in his body. After that we see the entire squad reunite; Kashimo is there in the back, I love how he is facing the other way since he doesn’t know anybody in the room but Chozo is there, Ui Ui, Maki, Yuta, and then Inumaki.
It is kinda hard to see Inumaki because he is small, but after the Shibuya Incident Arc, Inumaki finally returned to the Jujutsu Kaisen manga, its been so freaking long, I think more than 100 chapters, so this means that he has joined the Culling Game, and I don’t know what is that means, his arms got healed with reversed curse technique but wow! I am so happy he is here.
