The four-part HBO docu-series Burden Of Proof has already been highly anticipated as the crime story that we have never heard of will be unfolded by the victim’s brother. The trailer of Burden Of Proof made it pretty clear that Stephan Pandos was the only one who was not convinced by his parents when they said that Jennifer ran away from home. Stephan tried looking for the answers but always failed, but nearly after 30 years after the incident, Stephan decided to open the case of Jennifer, which helped him make shocking discoveries that he was unaware of over the years.
The trailer of Burden Of Proof began with Stephan reading notes of Jennifer in which she mentioned that she could not change the things that she has done, running away was hard for her, and she was living each day as if it was her last. Stephan also went to his place to meet his parents, and when he asked whether or not they did anything to Jennifer, both of them were still in denial.
In the end, we see Stephan confessing that he wants to find out the truth for Jennifer because she deserves justice, and he will never give up on his beloved sister, whose story of disappearance was a lie which is told by his parents.
