The nostalgic game-based series, Sonic Prime, will soon start airing worldwide. Talks of it being in production were around for a year or two but have finally materialized and will be premiering on our televisions by the end of this week.

Production of the show was taken up by Sega as well as Man Of Action Entertainment and Wildbrain. The trailer for this series was released just a month back and received great attention due to its better animation and storyline.

Sonic Prime Season 1: Preview
As we can see from the trailer, Sonic is the one behind the group disbanding and being thrown off into various universes. Dr. Eggman seems to be behind a crystal called the Paradox Prism, which holds a mysterious power. While fighting him, Sonic targets the prism, which causes all of the others in the vicinity to be thrown off into different universes.
It’s now up to Sonic to fix what he’s done and bring back the normal world with his home Green Hill and all his normal friends. When Sonic travels to different universes, he comes across different versions of his friends, with themes such as Robots, cyborgs, pirates, and even an ancient theme.
