La Pluie Episode 9: Recap
La Pluie’s episode begins with a fainted Lomfom in a flashback on how he felt about the concept of soulmates and how nothing controls our destiny. He wakes on his bed in a while with Saengthian on the floor next to him, who is extremely concerned about his health and apologizes for loading his favorite person with so much work.
While they have a moment between them, it is notified that Saengtai has been found and is outside the house, where everyone around him is concerned for the boy as well. Saengthai is asked to get some much-needed medicine when he is about to take his medicine in the room when Nara enters the room.
Meanwhile, Phatt tells everyone outside about how he has proposed to Saengthai, which gets everyone jolly. Nara, in the room, discusses what all happened between her and Phatt, for which she apologizes with all her heart. Both have a clear vindication of the confusion and grudges.
At night, everyone joins the bonfire party that had been discussed in the daytime, where the newly committed couple gets all lovey-dovey. In a while, they begin a game of Truth and Dare, where Lomfom clears out that he does have a crush, but the name is not revealed as yet. Path also gets to talk to Nara through the excuse of Truth and Dare where she gets her closure on the relationship she shared with Path.
The clarity takes away her worries, but it still breaks her heart which she lets out with Dream, who comforts her later that night when Nara is all on her own. The next day at the University, Saegthai and Path plan to visit Saengtai’s brother later that day. Saengthian and Lomfom come to meet them at the University as well, whereas Lomfom, who has been acting skeptical since the beginning of the episode, asks Path’s few moments to talk about something which isn’t revealed as well.
Later that day, the BL couple visits Saengthai’s brother where. Path cannot get his eyes off the house next to Saengthai. It turns out that the house was owned by Path’s brother, which is the place where Path had his first interaction with Saengthai as an anonymous pen pal who supports each other in their lows.
The entire episode was all based on vindications and clarifications, which is why it might seem a little mundane at times throughout the fifty minutes, but it will be interesting to see what happens next, specifically between the hinted chemistry between Nara and Dream.
