The story of Tsuki Ga Michibiku Isekai Douchuu centers around the main character Makoto Misumi who is a high school student that has been transported to this world full of magic and fascinating animals. Makoto wakes up in an unfamiliar new world with no recollection of where and how he came there, but he is soon greeted by a deity named Tsukihime, who is his guide.
Despite all odds, Makoto continues to be firm in his mission to return home, driven by a strong sense of resolve and a desire to learn more about this bizarre new world. As Makoto journeys farther into the magic land, he learns more about the area’s past and the individuals who live there. He eventually learns about the many groups and political influence struggles that exist around the globe, and he recognizes that if he is to accomplish this in his journey, he must carefully manage these.
In previous chapters, we saw Makoto and Shiki flying to the demi-plane to hear Tomoe’s report. They report at a massive mansion, which Shiki informs Makoto is currently being expanded. Shiki stops Makoto in front of one of the chambers, and the room opens, and he is startled to see everyone arrange a surprise party for him as he returns to the demi-plane after a long period. He was surprised to find Mio and Shiki participating in this surprise plot.
Makoto is surprised to see Mio act so maturely after the last time that he had seen her. Mio had cooked all the food for everyone and panicked if it tasted alright because she was planning on making the food edible more than thinking if Makoto would enjoy it, but to her surprise, Makoto seemed to incredibly enjoy the food as it was really delicious. After some time, Makoto along with Shiki and Tomoe, decide to head toward debriefing in Makoto’s new room in the mansion.
During the session, Tomoe informs Makoto that they have encountered the hero of Gritonia, who was on an undercover mission along with the imperial princess. Tomoe tells Makoto that she even had the thought of killing him but didn’t make a decision until informing to Makoto.
She also says that there was a certain individual with immense power who was more powerful than Sofia and was called as “Devil.” There was no more information that could be gathered on the goddess’s interference. The only thing that they could gather out of this was that there was a special type of telepathy that was only available to Makoto and to the servants. It would take a while for the Kuzunoha clerks to use it as well.
Meanwhile, Mio, along with Hibiki, meets Malta. Where she tells them how Makoto really enjoyed the food she cooked by her, and she thanks them for giving her cooking lessons. The next morning some adventurers broke through the Scythe Ant Colony, which causes the whole colony of ants to attack them. The situation becomes very dangerous as they remember how dangerous these ants are and that they even managed to tear through Mio’s kimono. Now, Belda and Hibiki, along with the others, get into a fight with these ginormous ants. Hibiki, during the battle, manages to unleash the new power of the silver sash and, in a single attack, defeats the whole colony.

Tsuki Ga Michibiku Isekai Douchuu Chapter 82 Recap
The chapter gives us an insight into Makoto being briefed by Shiki, who informs him about how the students have been consuming the fruits. It is yet to be seen how they will perform at the upper limit, but until then, they would have to continue with the experiment. Shiki gives an update on Izumo that he still is unable to finish his long chants, so he is forced to resort to weak spells of attributes. Makoto says that he will also be going to the library to see what books would be useful for the improvement of the students.
In the library, he is greeted by the librarian Ewa with whom he ends up having a conversation on how they view marriage and feelings of attraction from their own perspectives but ends up getting disappointed as it is so much more different than that of the real world. People here just see it as a mere scheme and want to look for their own benefit. He leaves the place after a brief discussion.
We then see Izumo read a letter of a proposal he gets from Osakabe and decides to give it a read. He finds it very beautiful and appealing and thinks to himself that he needs to also improve himself and his chanting speed and goes to Ewa for help. She already tells him that his young master has picked out a few books for the same, and he takes them with him and writes a letter back to Osakbe apologizing for not getting back to her.
Finally, we see Ewa in her own thoughts, thinking that the employees in Kuzunoha Store are demi-humans and it is really hard for Kuzunoha Sensei to be working for the temple at the given moment. Before this happens, she thinks they should bring him over as Kuzunoha Sensei is popular with his students and also innocent. She thinks that he could be quite useful to them.
Tsuki Ga Michibiku Isekai Douchuu Chapter 83 Spoilers
As we have already seen, Ewa talk about Kuzunoha Sensei being of use to them, there might be a possibility of them using him for their own benefit because all they do in this world is look out for their own profit and nothing else.
We also would most likely get to know if Izumo is able to improve his chanting abilities, as he has been quite slow compared to the rest of them. The manga is getting pretty interesting, and we can’t wait to find out what could be revealed in the next coming chapters!
