Revenge of the Iron-Blooded Sword Hound chapter 44 will see a brother come to Vikir for his help to save her little sister. She does not look so well, and her life would be in great danger if Vikir didn’t do anything sooner.
We know he will put aside his differences with her brother and help her recover from illness. At last, Vikir is a nice guy, always ready to help anyone in need.
The last chapter begins with the globins. One by one, each globin is shoved in the infected water and contracted Red Death. On the other hand, Aiyen and Vikir are talking about the Red Death.
In response, Aiyen asks whether the Red Death spreads through water. Vikir replies, “Yeah, the infected water is the biggest cause of the infection.” To neutralize the Red Death, water must be boiled before shoving anyone. In the following panel, we see Akwilla, who was impressed with Vikir. His solution helped them to conquer the Red Death.
Due to the help of Vikir, their people can see the light at the end of the tunnel. She was grateful for him.

Revenge of the Iron-Blooded Sword Hound Chapter 43 Recap
A goblin was hanging and then shaved into boiling water. It was a solution from Vikir to neutralize the Red Death. We were told in this chapter that all the goblins they shoved into the infected water contracted the Red Death.
In the next panel, we discover that the infected water is the biggest cause of the infection. Vikir suggested boiling the water before shoving the goblin in was the best way to prevent the Red Death. As expected, it works. In the next panel, we see that the goblin dies instantly, showing the successful prevention of the Red Death.
The elves look happy as they finally find a way to conquer the Red Death! One of them says, “So you’re saying that if we use boiled water, we can prevent the infection?”
In the next panel, we see Akwilla. She says, “Good job!” “Thanks to you, we can see the light at the end of the tunnel.” She was grateful for that! As shown in this chapter, the prevention of the Red Death was to avoid water. However, the rainy season is just around the corner, so how would they avoid water?!
The village chief shows his concern on this matter. He further says, “There will be limitations of how they boil water and wash up as they go according to the preventative measures.” He suggests a solution to this. And it is to relocate the village.
Vikir was furious with the village chief for suggesting this terrible way to deal with the Red Death. There’s no way to leave this place at any cost — it is where their ancestors lie?! He further suggests a method by which they don’t have to move from the Ballak territory.
Next, we discover that the rainy season approached the Le Rouge Et Le Noir Mountain. The river flooded, and what was once flatlands became vast torrents of swampy terrain. It was a clear indication of big trouble. So, to prevent flooding, everyone in the village worked their best. And guess what? Despite encountering difficulties, they managed to avert a potential flood situation.
The person who saves the day for them is Vikir. His presence is enough to change the table in their favor. A sea beast suddenly attacked them, but Aiyen quickly neutralized the threat. Finally, we see Vikir in action — using his abilities to fight Kaah and scare the beast away. All the elves call Vikir their hero, who saves them from Kaah.
An unknown person suddenly enters their tents, asking Vikir for his help to save her little sister. Chapter 43 of Revenge of the Iron-Blooded Sword Hound ends with the beginning of the conversation between an unknown man and Vikir. The upcoming chapter will show us Vikir’s good side. He may help the man’s little sister.
