Blu meets his potential partner, the fiercely independent Jewel who yearns to run away back into the forest, at Tlio’s aviary in Rio. Blu, Jewel, and their three children are launched from Rio de Janeiro to the Amazonian wilderness, where they find themselves in the middle of a jungle. When his owner gets married and has a child, Max the terrier has to adjust to some significant changes in his life. Elliot starts to have second thoughts after hearing Ian say something during the wedding ceremony and believing that his fractured antlers are a sign of bad luck. Mr. Weenie discovers and follows a dog biscuit trail that his previous owners had left behind. Elliot sees Mr. Weenie being hauled away by his previous owners, Bob and Bobbie, at the wedding’s conclusion. Alex, Marty, Melman, Gloria, King Julien, Maurice, and Mort decide that they should go look for them and then head back to their residence at the Central Park Zoo in New York City when they don’t come back. The Monte Carlo Casino is where they discover the penguins and chimpanzees. Chantel DuBois, a ruthless French Animal Control officer who is desperate to add Alex’s head to her taxidermy collection, causes chaos, and the animals barely escape.

Infants are delivered by storks, or at least they used to. They currently deliver packages for a major international online retailer. When Junior, the company’s top delivery stork, unintentionally turns on the Baby Making Machine, a gorgeous but entirely unapproved baby girl is born just as he is about to be promoted. Before one stork named Jasper tried to keep a baby girl for himself, the storks of Stork Mountain had been delivering children to families all around the world for millennia. Jasper fled into exile after unintentionally destroying the baby’s address beacon.

The storks were unable to deliver the orphaned child, so they took on the name Tulip and adopted her. The CEO of Stork Hunter stopped delivering babies in favor of Cornerstore.com’s package delivery service. Eighteen years later, Tulip, who is now a young adult, tries to introduce fresh concepts for Cornerstore but fails and the business loses stock. Due to this incompetence, Hunter declares her to be a significant burden and liability (the charts also support this, as every time she tries to assist, their profits decrease, and when they do make progress).
