Among the most recognizable fighters in history is the Ninja. Nearly every person in the world today has the image of the Japanese Ninja, or “shinobi,” tattooed on their minds. The warrior who sneaks up on his adversary and strikes when he eventually finds it has cultural resonance because it’s not only tremendous but also hazardous.
People are naturally drawn to things that are scary. The most recent anime to attempt to reinvent the Ninja by incorporating it into contemporary culture is Ittoki the Ninja. Ittoki, a typical child who attends school and lives a life as distinct as one may have, is the protagonist of the series.
Ittoki learns one day, though, that he is a member of a long-gone ninja family that is at battle with the other ninja villages that are still active in contemporary Japan. Ittoki now has to juggle his lifestyle between the strain of being an adolescent and being a member of a ninja community that is at war.
Ittoki the Ninja isn’t a huge disaster, but it isn’t a grand slam, either. The series will either succeed or fail by itself alone since it is an original and must develop a following on its own.
Although the notion is incredibly entertaining and would make a wonderful comedy, the show typically uses it only in the shallowest of ways. We just receive the most predictable jokes at every moment, despite the fact that this might be so very much better.

Ittoki The Ninja Episode 2 Recap
Yumika outlines Ittoki’s options now that Koga is aware of who he is. He has to choose between becoming a ninja and taking over as leader of the Iga Clan from his father or trying to lead a normal life and unavoidably dying at the hands of the Koga.
Tokisada pulls Ittoki aside and reveals that Yumika is prepared to offer a third, covert option in which Ittoki can live in secrecy. Ittoki hesitantly agrees to train as a ninja because he does not want to abandon his mom to manage the Iga Clan by herself.
Yumika makes a choice to enroll Ittoki in the Kokuten Ninja Academy, which is neutral ground that the Koga cannot publicly attack because it is under the jurisdiction of the National Ninjutsu Security Measures Committee (NSC), in order to keep him safe.
Ittoki is accompanied to the qualifying examination, which is held at a supermarket controlled by the Koga, Kosetsu, and Tokisada. Satomi sneaks into the exam as well, but Ittoki manages to outwit her. Satomi and her associates are captured by NSC ninjas for disobeying the law, and Ittoki succeeds in passing the test.
The Koga is confronted by the NSC, but Kidou reports that Satomi and several men have gone renegade. Satomi is subsequently discovered lifeless in her cell. Tokisada converses with Yumika despite harboring suspicions that the Koga had already penetrated Kokuten, the NSC, as well as possibly the Iga Clan.
