Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 225 will be returning in the 28th issue of the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine, and it is not a surprise that the fans have been awaiting the release of the chapter for the last two weeks, given that the series is showcasing an amazing and most anticipated battle of the series, Gojo against Sukuna in all their might.
The series had started with the hype of the strongest sorcerer of the current time, Gojo Satoru, who claimed that even if Sukuna had to gain all of his power back, he could defeat him and prevail as a victor. With Gojo’s return from the prison realm, fans saw that Gojo went ahead and confronted Kenjaku and Sukuna and once again claimed that he would win against him.
Whether it be fans of Gojo and Sukuna, the community reading this series is very excited to read the new chapters of the series despite the outcome of the battle. And from the looks of how the fights have been going on, this is going to take its time, and fans are enjoying every bit of the fight. The previous chapter of the series saw Gojo and Sukuna begin their battle and warm for the battle with nothing but exchanging a few blows to each other.
Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 224 only saw a few dialogues at the very start of the chapter, and for the rest of the chapter, there wasn’t even a single dialogue until the end, which saw Gojo and Sukuna both enjoying this battle. After the release of such an exciting chapter, Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 225 is the next one, which will be released very soon, and the spoilers and the raw scans for the chapter have started to come out.
Unlike the previous chapter, the chapter is poured with information and also various characters that are watching the battle on the various Televisions set up by Mei Mei. The chapters basically go to see the characters discussing the abilities of Gojo and Sukun, which are very surprising. Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 225 begins with a new point of view of the various familiar characters watching the amazing battle on the various television set up by Mei Mei. The narrator for the battle states that Sukuna is using Domain amplification against Gojo, which helps the former neutralize the latter’s infinite barrier.

Seeing that Sukuna has done this technique as well, Yuta adds to the conversation that it is the same plan that Jogo and Hanami used against Gojo in the Shibuya arc. Hakari wonders how this is possible, to which Kusabake replies saying that the domain amplification is the upgraded version of the simple domain.
However, there is a con to using domain amplification as it doesn’t let the user use their innate cursed techniques, and it is no different for Sukuna. Adding to the explanation, Angel says that if Sukuna has the plan to bypass Gojo’s infinity, then Gojo will lose this battle.
On the next page of Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 225 sees Miwa asking why wouldn’t Sukuna use his Domain expansion, to which Kirara rebates that it would end the battle instantly. Yuji also adds saying that Domain’s sure hit effect would penetrate Gojo’s infinity.
Moving on, Ui Ui asks if Sukuna is assuming that he wouldn’t win in a Domain Battle against Gojo, but Shoko replies that if that were the case, then Gojo’s six eyes and his wicked personality would have picked up on such thoughts. Thus, adding to the conversation is Choso, who surprises everyone, saying that Sukuna’s Domain Expansion doesn’t have a barrier to begin with.

Everyone is shocked to learn that Sukuna doesn’t have a barrier in his Domain Expansion, and Choso informs that he learned it from Yuji and Inumaki. Miwa doesn’t understand how a barrier-less domain would work, so she asks them (much like us), and Kusakabake says that he will explain it to her and asks her to throw her water.
Discussing The Possibility of the Domain Battle
Miwa throws a bottle of water, and Kusakabe instantly returns the bottle saying he never asked her to throw a bottle of water, rather only the water. Funnily enough, Miwa doesn’t understand and throws the water at Kusakabe’s face from the bottle. Mei Mei adds to the explanation by saying that the barrier-less domain is like painting without canvas.

The conversation then sees Maki; where she says that it is not impossible to have a barrier-less domain, but it is rare and says that Megumi’s Domain Expansion was incomplete as well and thus technically did not have a barrier. Kusakabe adds to Maki’s explanation by saying that Sukuna’s situation is not the same as Megumi had to use the environment for the lack of his incomplete domain, but Sukuna has free will over his Domain Expansion.
Again adding to the conversation, we have Choso, who reveals that Kenjaku had a Domain barrier as well. Reflecting on their battle against the Kenjaaku, Choso regrets to inform you that Yuki used that simple domain while Tengen dismantled Kenjaku’s domain from the outside, and as a result, Yuki’s domain did not have a chance against him but only if she were to use her Domain Expansion instead.
Then Ino also adds to the discussion the domain expansion say, saying that they are talking about using Domain Expansion very casually, but it can’t be used often. Inumaki replies, saying that Gojo doesn’t run out of the Cursed Energy and thus using Domain Expansion would be a different case.
Whereas Kashimo also adds to the conversation, saying that Sukuna is god-like in using his cursed energy efficiently, and if it weren’t for Gojo’s six eyes that provide him the infinite cursed energy, then Sukuna would have won the battle already.
Gojo And Sukuna’s Domain Clash, Which Lets Sukuna Land His Sure Hit Effect On Sukuna Resulting in…?
After all that discussion, Momo comes to a conclusion saying that even Gojo and Sukuna may not have an idea of what the outcome of their Domain battle would be like and then, we see Higuruma calling out to everyone to take a look at what is going in the battle.
Thus, we see a double spread of Gojo and Sukuna in which both of them are initiating their Domain Expansion. Following this double-spread, we have another double spread which sees the Gojo’s Domain, Unlimited Void, and Sukuna’s Domain, Malevolent Shrine.

The context we see for the double spread is that inside Gojo’s barrier, Sukuna and the former’s barrier overlap, which cancels the sure effect of both domains. However, if either of them gets collapsed gets damaged and collapses first, we will see the opponent’s sure hit effect working on the other instantly.
The reaction to this Domain expansion is from Kusakabe and Mei Meir, who are shocked to see it, and the narrators explain that the Sukuna’s Domain’s reach goes beyond Gojo’s barrier (possibly due to Sukuna’s Domain not having a barrier) and the barrier of a Domain as the narrator explains this, we see Yuji panicking and completing the sentence that Domain’s barrier from the outside is weak.
Thus, the last double spread of the Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 225 sees Sukuna’s slash attacks Gojo’s barrier from the outside, which results in Gojo’s barrier collapsing and Sukuna’s must-hit effect of domain cuts his Gojo’s neck.

Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 225 was an incredible chapter, and it told us more about Sukuna’s domain expansion and his cursed techniques. Given that we learned about a barrier-less domain was surely a game changer. Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 226 will be the next one, and luckily it will be released without any break.
