Jujutsu Kaisen brings forth a story of sorcery and sorcerers who fight curses. The manga, written by Gege Akutami, has become insanely popular among readers worldwide. One of the main reasons why people are absolutely in love with the show is its characters and how they have been built with so much interesting and fun colors added to the overwhelming strength in them. With so many strong characters present in the series, it’s difficult to spot the top ten strongest characters in Jujutsu Kaisen, but we have attempted to do so and created the most accurate list we could.
The anime has completed one season, but the manga is far deep into the story. With every arc, Gege Akutami is powering up his characters, developing them, and even introducing some new characters who display a remarkable amount of powers. 10. Uraume
Not much is known about Uraume, but there have been hints that the character is going to be strong enough to deserve a place on this list. However, we can’t assume what their stats are yet, but I have a feeling once they are known, the character is going to rank higher in the list. Uraume is a loyal follower of Sukuna, and Sukuna seems to have high expectations from them as well. Sukuna’s very acknowledgment indicates Uraume’s strength. Uraume has dealt with several Grade 1 sorcerers with ease. They have also shown several impressive jujutsu skills as well.

9. Mahito
From season 1, we have seen the wrath of Mahito. Without giving spoilers, we can confirm that his terror rises further in the manga. Mahito carries the power of Idle Transfiguration, meaning he can alter the shapes of other people’s souls as well as his own. He is recorded as a special grade curse who shows a sadistic side. Mahito takes pleasure in people’s screams which makes me even more dangerous than he already was. Adding to his set of insane skills are his speed, agility, and quick presence of mind. He even shows a high-level tactical ability that makes him a great close-range fighter too.

8. Jogo
People need to understand that Jogo was created with a lot of power. It seems silly to base his entire level of strength on a fight that he fought against Gojo, someone known to be the strongest. Jogo is not a sadist like Mahito, but he has superb firepower. He can also perform domain expansions, which is a huge advantage, as already explained by Gojo. It has also been mentioned that his strength equals the strength Of Sukuna at eight or nine fingers. His fire can incinerate his opponents (of course, Gojo was an exception with his infinity). Jogo is indeed one of the strongest characters in Jujutsu Kaisen.

7. Yuta Okkotsu
Yuta Okkotsu has his own prequel series and was decided to be the original protagonist of the series at first by Gege Akutami. But after Shueisha picked it up, Akutami chose Yuji Itadori to lead the show. Yuta Okkotsu is one of the only four special grade sorcerers in the series. The character is very strong who spent months to train and control his own power. He has an unlimited amount of cursed energy that comes from latched cursed spirit, Rika. Yuta Okkotsu is an absolute powerhouse, and we have seen enough of his powers in the prequel manga and in the future arcs of the parent manga to declare him one of the strongest characters in Jujutsu Kaisen.

6. Yuki Tsukumo
One of the only four special grade sorcerers, Yuki Tsukumo, was long left introduced in the series. She is a unique personality who prefers to travel our becoming a full-time sorcerer. We have yet to see Yuki Tsukumo at her full strength. However, various instances prove that she is one of the strongest characters in the series with the ability to impress the entire fandom. She was initially introduced as Aoi Todo’s mentor. Having trained a sorcerer as fine as Aoi gives us a good look at how strong she is. But we had our personal experience with her powers when she countered Uraume’s Ice Fall easily. We have yet to see her powers and I bet she could not rank lower than this in the list.

5. Toji Fushiguro
I’m prepared to argue against anyone who underestimates Toji Fushiguro. The character has taken some of the strongest sorcerers and pulled them down despite being unable to wield cursed energy. Even Maki, who has recently received a full power-up, remains weaker than Toji Fushiguro in terms of super strength and techniques. Toji Fushiguro has slain several sorcerer killers, and it took the strongest of them– Gojo Satoru to defeat him and even that with a lot of difficulties.
But is that enough reason to base our decision and place him so high on the list of the strongest characters in Jujutsu Kaisen? Yes, but if people still doubt it, we need to remember that his spirit took over the consciousness of the Ogami grandson and wreaked some serious havoc upon many sorcerers. He was unstoppable, and everyone was only saved after the Ogami’s curse wore off.
Toji Fushiguro is a very interesting character, written extremely well by Gege Akutami. His brilliancy has been proved from time and again, and he firmly deserves this spot on this list.

4. General Mahoraga
Megumi has shown some serious progress in the series that is very commendable. Although Megumi is not as strong as many characters in this list individually, we see him unleash one of the most dangerous shikigami, which even gives quite an amount of trouble to Sukuna as well. Megumi with General Mahoraga (or Makora) is completely overpowering, but sadly, he hasn’t gained control over it. General Mahoraga displays an impressive set of skills. The shikigami is known to be hard to tame. It took a lot of effort, even from Sukuna at 15 fingers Sukuna to take him down. It’s insane that this was merely the preview of what may come ahead if Megumi were to tame this shikigami.

3. Kenjaku: Pseudo Geto (or Brain)
Suguru Geto was once one of the four special-grade sorcerers. Geto possessed the ability to consume cursed spirits and use them to his benefit. However, Suguru Geto alone was not as strong as Kenjaku, the version of Suguru Geto that got possessed after his death. Kenjaku is ruthless and cunning, with several tricks up his sleeves.
Before Suguru Geto, he had possessed Noritoshi Kamo, who became the evilest sorcerer of his era. The experience became an important factor that contributed to his combat ability as he picked up several combat skills from his years of existence. Kenjaku has now become one of the top 3 strongest characters in Jujutsu Kaisen after possessing Suguru Geto, a special grade sorcerer with unique Jujutsu techniques.

2. Satoru Gojo
Do I even need to explain this spot? Satoru Gojo has been announced as the strongest character in Jujutsu Kaisen now, with the most exotic and powerful cursed energy flowing through him. His overwhelming strength had been keeping the entire society of sorcerers on balance, which is evident from the chaos that rises after he is sealed. Satoru Gojo’s greatest weapons are; Infinity, which does not let his opponent even touch him, and his inherited Six Eyes. How Six Eyes works are yet to be explained. While we have already seen the special grade sorcerer make his point that he is one of the strongest characters in Jujutsu Kaisen, it is important to note that we still have a lot to see of him and hence a lot more to unleash.

1. Ryomen Sukuna
When Satoru Gojo was placed second in the list of the strongest characters in Jujutsu Kaisen, I bet many already knew Ryomen Sukuna would be placed first. I’m sure many fans would rather prefer these two spots to be switched, but once again, are we to really judge this based on the first fight they had in episode 1?
We do not know the full potential of Ryomen Sukuna, but we do know that he was once renowned for being the King of Curses and a title as big as that is not something that is bestowed over nothing. He has plans of his own that we are currently completely unaware of. The same goes for his cursed techniques. Like Satoru, he has multiple abilities. At fifteen fingers, he is able to take down Mahoraga, a nearly undefeatable shikigami, so it’s interesting to ponder what Sukuna could achieve after consuming all twenty fingers.
