Peter Cook and Alba Jancou exchanged their wedding vows on Friday, with a backdrop of one of Italy’s most famous views. They tied the knot at the Hotel Luna in Capri in a beautiful ceremony with a view of the Faraglioni, which are three impressive rocky formations rising from the Meditteraran Sea and are known as a symbol of the island’s enchanting beauty.
Alba Jancou, who is 24 years old, told to PEOPLE that who would not want to have their wedding in Capri. Both of them adore Italy, and it’s their favorite country. They explored all around Italy as a couple, and the one spot that left a lasting impression on them was Capri. The couple enjoyed everything- the scenery, the delicious food, the rich culture. It is incredibly romantic and incredibly beautiful.
The couple went on a holiday there in 2021, and on their third anniversary, they took a boat ride and shared a special kiss under the Faraglioni rocks, says Cook, a 64-year-old architect who grew up in Italy. About a year later, Alba discovered a wonderful terrace with a view of the Faraglioni, and they both knew that it was the perfect place for their wedding.

Peter Cook and Alba Jancou’s wedding looked like a day straight out of a romantic novel. Even though the place where the couple got married had amazing views, all the guests were more interested in the bride and groom.
For the special day, Jancou wore a lovely dress designed by Lee Grebenau from Isreal. The dress had 3D butterflies, see-through cutout details, and a stunning train with beautiful decorations.

Jancou shared that she was in touch with Giselle, who runs the Lee Petra Grebenau Flagship in New York, and when she saw the dress on the internet, she quickly sent her a picture. It was the very first dress she tried on, and she instantly fell in love with it. She did not pay much attention to the other dresses she tried on afterward.
She completed her outfit with a timeless pair of Aquazzura shoes. The Beauty Livery team gave her a gentle, stylish hair and makeup look. On the other hand, Cook chose a traditional dark blue suit, a white shirt, and a silver tie, all from ZEGNA, and he wore Hermes shoes. Their wedding rings were from London Jewelers, and they were designed to match the six-carat Bradford diamond ring that Cook used for his proposal.

The couple said that the usual wedding promises, but they made them special and unique. They did this in front of an arch decorated with layers of white flowers created by the flower designers from Capri Blossom. This arch made a beautiful frame for the bride and groom, with the Faraglioni rocks in the background. The person who led the ceremony was Fabian Rawnsley, a local from Capri.

Jancou walked down the aisle holding a bunch of white flowers. A violinist played the well-known wedding march, starting with Parchelbel’s Canon. After they officially became married with a kiss, the couple left the wedding ceremony while the song “All of Me” by John Legend played.
It was a very small and close-knit gathering, with only six guests present. The couple called it an “over-the-top elopement,” a term Jancou came up with while they were planning. To bring their idea to life, Cook and Jancou got assistance from Capri Moments, a specialized wedding and event planning company.
They created an elegant and customized event, decorating the venue with a mix of white colors and the typical blues and yellows of the Capri area. Plenty of beautiful flowers from Capri Blossoms were hanging down from the center of the table.
