His demise was surely a tragic one and thus, fans are curious about what happened to Dustin Diamond. Dustin worked as an actor in the United States and rose to fame in the form of a stand-up comedian. His best role to date has to be the one where we saw him enact the character of Samuel Powers, also known as Screech in the Saved by the Bell franchise.
Dustin was born in San Jose located in California a Jewish household. His career began when he was only a child as he stepped into the feet of being an actor. Another controversy was waiting fresh ahead of him in the form of a book called Behind the Bell which was released back in 2009. This hook exposed a lot of crew and cast members and their dirty behavior. There are various critics who have wanted to talk about the claims and how it all happened in the first place.
But later through the years, Dustin commented about the book situation saying that he has actually never written the same. It was ghostwritten by some author who had interviewed him and got the answers from his sentences. He made a few statements about his co-workers but many parts of the books such as the allegations of sex and drug abuse were just made under false pretenses and he had never said or claimed anything like that.

Jumping right into what happened to Dustin Diamond, it was revealed that he was diagnosed with extensive stage four small-cell carcinoma of the lungs. this was back in January 2021. Everything was pretty confirmed about his demise because there was nothing that the doctors could have done at this point in time. They tried some chemotherapy and did one round of the same in Cape Coral located in Florida. Although, Dustin Diamond left the world on the 1st of February 2021 at the age of 44 due to his illness.
After his tragic demise, NASCAR gave him a tribute. It was Dan Block, who is the founder of the Insurance King. He teamed up with Josh Bilicki who happens to be the driver of Rick Ware Racing Ford. They ran a tribute care for Diamond which finished 18 on the spot.
This was during the 2021 Version 200 at the Brickyard. Block and Diamond were pretty close friends from the start and he claimed that Dustin had everyone by his side because of who he was. He said everything that they had in between them was more than just a call of the business relationship.
