After having ruled for 70 years, Queen Elizabeth II died at the age of 96 on September 8, 2022. Her demise was followed by a huge gathering at Windsor, which included people from different royalties, some world leaders, and of course, politicians. A funeral service had been arranged at Westminster’s Abbey, where people stood in solemn silence, paying their respects to the beloved Queen for one last time.
Her Majesty’s Royal family members had assembled behind her coffin during the procession. However, fans were quick to spot an oddly early departure of siblings- Princesses Beatrice and Eugine, who were known to share a very beautiful connection with their grandmother.
The early departure of the siblings from their grandmother’s funeral has caused a suspicious amount of confusion amongst royal fans as they express their curiosity about the situation. Even before the Queen’s coffin could be carried out of the Abbey, they were seen excusing themselves out of place along with their mother, Sarah Ferguson.
Everybody who was able to witness the historic and poignant service at length was left scratching their heads after the apparent early exit from the service.
The Royal fans were quick to discuss the matter on social media, and in just a matter of time, people started sharing their opinions on the various questions that were brought up.
While one fan questioned, “Why would the princesses leave the funeral early?” there were others who were more interested in finding out why Sarah would want to leave the funeral before the coffin. Despite vast speculations and a myriad of assumptions, it is still unclearly why the siblings departed early.
Who is Princess Beatrice?
Born on 8 August 1988, Elizabeth Beatrice is a British Royal family member. She was born to Prince Andrew and Sarah, who was also regarded as the Duke and Duchess of York. Princess Eugine happens to be her younger sister.
With the accession of King Charles III and the sudden demise of Queen Elizabeth II, Princess Beatrice now has to shoulder the responsibility of being the Counsellor of State, which is a position of great seniority within the royal kingdom.
The two siblings, 34 and 32, had come to the poignant service to attend their grandmother’s funeral. As emotional as they looked, their departure from the event is still being questioned by the public. However, the Royal sisters also posted pictures with their granny with a very beautifully penned down caption which gave the fans a glimpse of the beautiful relationship that they shared with the late Queen. Black outfits teamed with black headbands with sad and remorseful looks on their faces also did not go unnoticed by the public despite the controversy about them.

The Royal Family mourns the loss of Her Majesty
Every member of the Royal family at the funeral had their gaze fixed on the coffin as they watched it getting placed for its journey one last time. While thousands of people had lined up in the streets to mourn the loss of the beloved queen, some were even willing to queue up during the night to catch one final glimpse of the queen.
The king, on the other hand, was found leading his family, who was grieving, to the service, which was later followed by a solemn salute to pay his respects as his mother’s coffin went past him. Later, siblings Andrew, Anne, and Edward joined the King in the procession. William and Hary were also found actively participating in the service.
Other Royals including Prince George and Princess Charlotte, had accompanied their parents to the funeral to take part in the final rites before the Queen’s casket could be buried next to her beloved, King Phillip.
However, it has been reported saying that the young princess had been caught on camera tearing up during the event. She burst into tears as she tried to wipe away her tears. Whatever the case was, it was quite evident that the demise of the British monarch had left people, especially the Royals, very emotional.
The sad occasion was, however followed by the burial of the Queen’s coffin next to the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Philip. May her soul rest in peace.
The demise of the royalty also witnessed a very brief reunion of the entire family, with Prince Harry and Meghan back to participate in the rites. With so much happening all around, fans are still as interested in finding out what the Royal family is up to now and how they plan on going about their lives once this is settled.
