The Mashle: Magic and Muscles anime was announced way back in July 2022 and premiered this year on April 7. Crunchyroll, along with Aniplex of America, confirmed an English dub of the anime starring Aleks Le (best known for Zenitsu in Demon Slayer English dub), who will voice the protagonist.
This anime, based on the manga by Hajime Komoto, has grown quite significantly since its release. It follows the story of a young Mash Burnedead, who works hard to build muscles in the magic-filled world he lives in. The plot of muscles beating magic may seem like a common premise, but Komoto has mastered this trope. His balance of sorcery, brawn, and comedy gives a new meaning to the world of magic and muscles.
With bulging biceps, chiselled abs, and a firm determination, Mash smashes his way through challenges and obstacles, pulling in more viewers with each punch. Produced by A-1 Pictures, this anime can now be viewed in English dub for those who don’t like reading subtitles a lot!
