What is the plot of The Good, Bad Mother?
Young-Soon (Ra Mi-Ran) manages a pig farm and is a single mother. She was the only parent of Kang-Ho. Kang-Ho was the target of Young-Soon’s severe parenting since she didn’t want him to emulate her.
Kang-Ho (Lee Do-Hyun) is now an adult. He is a prosecutor and possesses a frigid disposition. He ignored his mother, Young-Soon, while pursuing his job and keeping his own secret. Kang-Ho experiences an unforeseen event on seemingly normal day and changes into a complete toddler.
He returns home and starts a new life with his unreliable mother, Young-Soon. Kang-Ho’s childhood friend Mi-Joo (Ahn Eun-Jin) is another. She is the kind of individual who can’t turn away from oppression and has a loving heart. Her life is changed when she re-meets Kang-Ho, who has changed into a young child.
What to Expect from The Good, Bad Mother
It is said that The Good, Bad Mother is a slice-of-life sitcom. The protagonist of this uplifting K-drama is a single mother named Young Soon, who raises pigs and lives with her son Kang-ho.
However, because Kang-ho separates himself from her, her traditional parenting style fails to transmit the affection that she has for her son. He avoids her until he gets into a mishap and is eventually diagnosed with amnesia as a merciless prosecutor.
Young-soon is eager to take advantage of the second opportunity to mend her connection with her son. There will be a lot of buzz about this program because of its star power, including Lee Do-hyun, who is coming off the success of Netlifx’s The Glory; veteran performer Ra Mi-ran; rising superstar Yoo In-soo; and idol actor Kim Ji-woong, who recently won the K-pop survivor show Boys Planet.
Kang-hoo and Mi-joo, who grew up together, are also shown in the trailer falling in love. Mi-joo chose to end the connection between them; therefore, it didn’t continue very long. After a few years pass, however, Kang-hoon has grown into a child, and the two reconvene in entirely different circumstances.
