What Happened In Station 19 Season 5 Finale?
The show is executive produced by Stacy McKee, Betsey Beers, Paris Barclay, and none other than Shonda Rhimes (producer of Grey’s Anatomy and Netflix’s Bridgerton). Stacy McKee conceived the show. We know that Andy Herrera tracks down a young woman named Holly, who could serve as both her victim and her witness against Jeremy.
The district attorney had previously said that Andy’s chances weren’t high, but finally, he learned of Jeremy’s deeds from an anonymous source. The charges were withdrawn after Holly spoke with the district attorney. In the Season 5 finale, Carina and Maya meet with the immigration office for the first time.
When Maya begins raving about losing her position as captain and attributes it to sexism and homophobia, things become quite emotional. She eventually receives a green card despite having an abrupt breakdown that might have ended her chances of receiving one.
In the Season 5 conclusion, just as Station 19 had managed to unite and celebrate Andy’s dismissal of the charges, a fresh conflict emerged. Maya isn’t quite over losing her job quite yet. Andy confronts Natasha Ross and Captain Robert Sullivan and threatens to denounce them for having relations with each other unless they return to her job.
