Adapting Yui’s original light novel series, Bibliophile Princess is an upcoming fantasy romance anime from Studio Madhouse (Overlord, One Punch Man, and Hunter x Hunter). Because of her “unquenchable love of books,” Lady Eliana Bernstein, a.k.a. the Bibliophile Princess, frequently shirks her social obligations to care for the royal library.
She soon learns she can’t always judge a royal book by its cover and her love for the prince blossoms in quite unexpected ways. The protagonist of the novel Bibliophile Princess is a young woman named Eliana Bernstein, who prefers to spend her time alone or with books rather than with other people.
However, she comes from a unique family, so she must find a suitor. She offers a deal to Crown Prince Christopher Selkirk Asherald. In exchange for protecting her free time, she promised to become her fiancée solely based on her name. As the years went by, Eliana learned to be vulnerable in front of people.
Eliana had no second thoughts about ending that fictitious connection with Christopher because she prefers books to humans. Eliana’s sentiments towards Christopher drastically differed as Christopher grew closer to the other girls after they broke up.
