“What’s Wrong with Being the Villainess?” has certainly created quite a stir among fans of the isekai genre and villainess trope, with it’s unique twist to the genre and beautiful art style. The people-pleasing behavior and general naivety make her easy to manipulate.
Yoon Dohee meets a tragic end after realizing that she is nothing more than a pushover to the people she considers friends and even her mother, who pushes her to take household responsibility unconditionally. But maybe it’s Yoon Dohee’s fate, she is transmigrated into the body of a young aristocrat called Debora Semyour. With her vicious beauty and cruel demeanor, Debora was the antagonist of the web novel Dohee used to read.
Dohee knows exactly what kind of fate Debora meets after tormenting the female lead of the novel. As Debora, it is her sole mission to lead a relaxed and easy life which comes from being born into a noble family. Dohee’s pushover personality has quite a contrast with Debora’s confident demeanor, which forces Dohee to be more confident in her new life. After getting a second chance, Dohee is determined to live a comfortable life and turn Debora’s fate around.

What’s Wrong with Being the Villainess?: Chapter 37 Spoilers
Pilaf finally reappears with Mia in his stead, and things might get heated between Debora and Isedore, and Pilaf. Pilaf is fuming with jealousy at the sight of Debora wearing the pink diamond on her neck and the fact she was dancing with another man when she was pining after him in the past.
A new character has been introduced in the manhwa. The fifth imperial princess is certainly an enigma at this point, and we are anxious to see how her relationship with Debora will pan out in future. We also meet Teigi Orgo, who seems familiar with Isedore, and although he doesn’t look like much of a threat, it would be interesting to watch him interact with Debora.
