Netflix’s Tekken: Bloodline Episode 1 release date is here; this animated series follows the popular Bandai Namco title with its nine games. In this series, we will see how the Mishimas thrive once again. Tekken first came out back in 1994 as a martial arts title, and it spawned two animated films and several comic books. With this title, we will see what appears to be a well-woven story inspired by the popular Tekken franchise.
Tekken Bloodline takes place between Tekken 2 and Tekken 3. In this title, we’re about to see a dystopic world where Jin Kazama is the center player. Can this series be a hit? Or will it be a complete flop with bad ratings like the live-action Tekken movie? We’re going to have to wait and see!

What is Tekken: Bloodline About?
It is clear from the story that the series will take place between Tekken 2 and Tekken 3, when Jin was training with his mother, Jun Kazama, on the outskirts of Yakushima. Thus, Tekken: Bloodline will follow the loss of the young fighter (with Ogre as responsible and main enemy) and how he was trained under the strict command of Heihachi Mishima. Are you ready for the next battle?
Let’s hope that Tekken: Bloodline follows in the footsteps of Castlevania and Cuphead, whose series for Netflix are highly recommended, and not so much that of Resident Evil, described in our review as “an accident that is not Umbrella’s fault”. We will have to see how both Tekken and the new Sonic series for Netflix end up coming out, the two great video game projects on which the platform is working.

Tekken: Bloodline will release on August 18, 2022, worldwide via Netflix. The announcement was made public via the Trailer we shared with you above.
