The founder of Shadoba College invites eighth-grader Light Tenryu to attend his school by accident (despite its name, Shadoba College is a middle and high school). Light accepts Itsuki Mitsutagawa’s invitation and joins the Shadoba Club, a group of students dedicated to the Shadowverse and striving for achievement in life. Itsuki’s club, “Seventh Flame,” has just one member and is on the verge of dissolving. Haruma Hazeura, the head of the Shadoba organization “First Reaper,” seems suspicious from the shadows as Itsuki and Subaru Makabe seek fresh members to keep the club operating.
Shadowverse Flame Episode 21 Review
In this episode, Tsubasa is mostly right about how friendships work. However, she is right only with regards to friendships these days, which are increasingly stale and meaningless, and easily destroyed by external factors (like moving, school, job, etc). Nevertheless, I believe Ren is right internally, as most adults aren’t honest when they say they do not care about having wholesome and closer friendships. Nevertheless, they must conform to the way things are in the world, which is not a choice, but a requirement. Thinking about it makes me sad.
Despite having an interesting ward storm ramping deck, Tsubasa seems to be having quite the losing streak. However, she opens up a lot more in this episode, which is great. Ren’s personality is pretty straightforward, but it’s not so bad to have a few of them. Her deck is mob-heavy with some cool combo potential. It will surely lead to some wild turnarounds if you spam 0 cost heroes. This episode was pretty fun!

About Shadowverse Flame Anime
Based on a PlayStation game of the same name, Shadowverse is a Japanese anime television series produced by Zexcs and directed by Keiichiro Kawaguchi.
