‘Another case of suicide in the K-pop industry’ suspects fans. Moonbin, a 25-year-old member of Astro, was reportedly found lifeless in his room by his manager. The South Korean Entertainment industry is canceling their schedules as it is a mourning period to pay tribute to Moonbin.

The Entertainment industry in Korea has lost several stars in the past because of suicide. Sullie, who always wanted to be a mother, killed herself because of rigorous cyberbullying, and her friend, Goo Hara, another K-pop member, was found dead.

Who Was Moonbin?
Moonbin was a handsome South Korean singer, model, and actor who used to win hearts with his performances. He worked for a South Korean entertainment company, Fantagio, just like other K-pop groups. Moonbin was a member of a K-pop group, Astro.
It is a South Korean K-pop group that originally had six members, namely MJ, Jinjin, Cha Eun-woo, Yoon San-ha, Rocky, and Moonbin. Rocky left the group in February 2023, and Moonbin died. So, now there are only four members left in the group.
When Moonbin was a kid, he got his first role in the all-time K-drama hit ‘Boys Over Flower.’ He played the role of Kim Bum’s younger character, and he was appreciated highly for that. Moonbin was born in 1998, and he kickstarted his career in 2009 when he was just 11 years old. Later, he developed an interest in music and dance and ended up graduating from Hanlim Multi Art School. He had a keen interest in practical music over there.

What Happened To Moonbin?
Moonbin, 25, who was the lead vocalist and main dancer of Astro, died. On Wednesday, April 19, 2023, Moonbin was reportedly found lifeless at his apartment, which is in Gangnam, South Korea. The K-pop member’s manager found him in a lifeless state when he entered Moonbin’s room to look for him. The investigation is in full swing, and to the current date, the Police have not found any suspicious activity that might have taken place in the room.
According to the people, it is another heartwrenching case of suicide in the K-pop industry. Yes, there were more amazing personalities who took their lives while they were serving as a K-pop member. Fantagio, the entertainment company that was Moonbin’t music label, tweeted and confirmed the sad news. They wrote that Astro member Moonbin had left the world and was now a bright star in the sky. The agency appealed to the public to let the family mourn in peace.

More About The Member of Astro
Moonbin was a hardworking, cheerful guy who started his career as a kid, and when he was in sixth grade, he joined Fantagio as a trainee. In 2016, Moonbin, 18, finally debuted as a member of a boy band with five other members called Astro.
After his debut, he was signed for a number of shows and concerts, and in 2019, he got a role in a drama series. He played the role of Oh Jung Jae in a popular K-drama named Moments of Eighteen. Moonbin and all the other members of the group then starred together in a K-drama, To Be Continued.
In 2020, Moonbin was presented as a model. It was announced that Moonbin is associated with the Brand Nerdy Cafe as one of the fashion models. Since 2020, he and his partner have been sub-units of Moonbin & Sanha. Talking about his latest performance, he appeared on April 8, 2023, in Bangkok.
He was doing mini-concerts, and Bangkok was one of the various stops of Moonbin & Sanha. He has one sibling, Moon Sua, who is a member of a South Korean girls’ group that was created by Mystic Story.
