The legendary secret technique was said to have been left behind by the sword sage approximately 600 years ago. It consisted of all the secret records of the sword sage. So Woon Hwi would love to keep it for himself, but it was useless for him with his broken Dantian (the part of your body that holds ki).
Just when So Woon Hwi is hiding the scroll so that no one else finds it, the head of the Golden Dragon Clan and member of the Martial Alliance, Mo Yong Soo arrives. Along with him comes one of the four elders of the Martial Alliance, Baek Wihyang.
So Woon Hwi belonged to the Radiant Earth Clan. He was exiled from his clan after his Dantian was destroyed by a ki rampage. Then ten years ago, he was kidnapped by the Blood Cult and had a blood worm implanted in his chest. Since then, he had been forced to be a puppet of the Blood Cult.
All So Woon Hwi wanted was to live a normal life, but he just ended up living a very shitty life. And now that he was a spy, he was just destined to die a very unfair death. And just as he is dying, he asks for a less pitiful next life if such a thing exists.
And just like that, So Woon Hwi had gone back in time ten years back in time. He was given a second chance to make all those things proper, which he disliked. This time he was determined not to make any mistakes and live life to its fullest while dodging all the hardships.

In Absolute Sword Sense Chapter 41, we saw that though the Young Lady, Baek Yeonha looked very fragile because she lost weight, she still had great strength. Also, considering the fact that Young Master So felt pain from that, her external arts must be really powerful too.
Also, though So Woon Hwi hadn’t noticed it earlier, Baek Yeonha’s index finger was rough with calluses. And he had heard that finger techniques are harder to master than fist or palm techniques. It was because you have to be prepared to break your fingers multiple times during training.
The finger techniques brought with them the risks of sealing your meridians. And So Woon Hwi also realized Baek Yeonha’s finger technique was not the blood hand demoness’ martial art. It definitely was the Blood Demons.
So Woon Hwi could sense the intense pressure just from her opening stance. He then decides to use the Luminous Star Sword Technique. But Baek Yeonha easily ducks and dodges it. And just like that, Baek Yeonha wins the duel, and So Wooh Hwi passes out and loses.
