We know for a fact that the K-Pop Idol business is a huge industry that requires collaboration and hiring of various expensive studios, professional makeup artists, costume designers, creative directors, rich and resourceful producers, skilled choreographers, etc.
The road to stardom for many individuals becomes a tricky endeavor owing to all these limiting factors in the Korean entertainment industry. But we also know human passions exceed all the material lacking when it comes to the pursuance of one’s dream.
Well, Dance Groups/ Dance Teams are your go-to remedy to escape the grappling of your stereotypical management-based K-Pop group contracts. They allow you to pursue the love and passion for Dance, Music, and K-Pop with independence that many Korean idols don’t have. The Clock is such a South Korean Dance group that has changed this game of stardom instead of following some petty rules.
Debut
In order to communicate to the world their passion for dance, Clock debuted a Teaser of their Dance Cover video on 20 September 2019 on their YouTube channel @clock4615. The dance team had an independent release on their own and was not under any label at the time of their debut.
Member profile
The Clock consists of three girls from South Korea that have come together to form a dance group. They prefer to say it is a Dance Team more than a Dance Group. The members of the group consist of Jieun, Jeongin, and Seoyoung.
Jieun
Jieun is a member of the South Korean dance team Clock. She is the lead dancer and can sport short hairs that give her Street a smart look. She poses a neat style in her dancing, hitting all the dance moves with her elegant gestures.
Jeongin
Jeongin is a member of the South Korean dance team Clock. She is the lead dancer and possesses baby-faced beauty. Jeongin owns chubby Vibes within her hour glass figure body type. She can dance well on a Senorita-styled dance cover.
She is quite a game streamer as well and has even live-streamed her gaming skills on Clock’s YouTube channel. She has also made personal cams with LIKEY Originals for her fans.
Seoyoung
Seoyoung is a member of the South Korean Dance Group Clock. She is the lead dancer who possesses smart visuals. She has a sleek on-point dancing style that gives her a long-leg lady sexy vibes.
She has even experimented with her visuals by Cosplaying with LIKEY Originals. She is quite an artist and an Anime lover. She often shares her high-quality Digital art of Anime characters on her Instagram account from time to time. Her love for cats can also be witnessed on her Instagram account.
Songs and Albums
The clock went ahead with their passion for dance and released their first K-Pop dance cover on 27 December 2019 for the ‘La Vie en Rose’ by South Korean girl’s Idol Group IZ*ONE. The visuals of the choreography video were simple, with an Underground Basement kind of Studio background.
Their first dance cover vibes well with the Korean culture of street-style comfy outfits, giving a street-styled Hip-hop persona. The three members tried to retain the original choreography that stays fit for Mirrored dance style practice choreography videos from South Korea.
They again grooved to Red Velvet‘s Bad Boy choreography. The group took the opportunity to shoot a close-up dance-styled video that accentuates members’ visuals. The original five-member choreography of Red Velvet was smoothly covered by the three-member-ed Clock.
The clock also challenged themselves to K-Pop Random Dance tasks just as the Korean Idols performed on Variety shows. To garner a more personalized fan base, the group even performed ‘K-Pop in Public’ in the Hongdae neighborhood of Seoul, South Korea. The fans are always able to attend such activities through information on their Instagram and Twitch announcements.
In order to showcase their personal dance styles, the members also released single dance covers of each member. Fans were able to enjoy Seyoung’s single on-point moves on ‘Player’ by Tinashe (feat Chris Brown), Jeongin’s liveliness on ‘Senorita’ by (G)I-DLE, and Guien’s coolness on ‘Snapping’ by Chungha.
Clock’s members have also collaborated with LIKEY Originals to shoot reels. Later, The group created members-only videos on LIKEY Originals. This collaboration turned out to be a huge success for Clock as they tried many different concepts like Cosplaying and Sexy Dancing.
