The story begins with the young Lin Tian, who gets deceived by his fiancée Xiao Yun and Mo Sen, the eldest son of Mo’s family. Lin Tian proceeds to lose all of his family’s property that was under his name.
Well, to make things worse, Xiao Yun and Mo Sen also end up pushing Lin Tian off the cliff with the intention of murder. But luckily enough, Lin Tian survives the fall and wakes up. He is now determined to finally avenge the two.
And, of course, he can not just avenge the two people who betrayed him but also needs to avenge the two families and take back everything that is his. And this is when he accidentally obtains the mysterious black iron sword.
