‘Mashle: Magic and Muscles’ is based in the magic realm. All who reside in this world can use magic at will. Thus, magic has become a natural part of everyone’s daily lives. A gift believed to have been bestowed by God. Its importance is so great that one’s level of mastery even determines one’s social status. But deep within a certain forest, there is one who stands in opposition to the world’s rules.
Regro Vandead is a chic and elegant seventy-five-year-old who lives alone with his son. When you get to his age, very little bothers you. Naturally, over the years, he has acquired a number of healthy ways to combat stress.
However, his son, Mash, is the clumsiest, and he is always so amenable after he screws up. Regro Vandead’s son doesn’t mean to do any harm, and he is so amenable that Regro Vandead has told him never to venture out into the city as he has no magic.
Mash has reached the age where he will want to leave the house. But Regro Vandead has concealed him here, away from the city, thinking it was for his sake. Also, now the magic police have caught wind of him, so Regro Vandead must protect Mash.
The reason why Regro Vandead is so stuck up to protecting Mash even though he is not his own son is that Regro Vandead also was born with no magic and went through tons of hardships and did not want a kid like Mash to go through the same.
Regro Vandead had made a promise to himself the day he met Mash that even though they weren’t tied by blood, even if the whole world rejected them, he would always be a father to that boy.
