Zendaya and Tom Holland have celebrated their marriage with a private gathering at a luxury country estate in Surrey, England, several months after quietly tying the knot. According to PEOPLE, the couple hosted the intimate celebration on August 4 at Beaverbrook Hotel, bringing together family and close friends for the occasion.
The reported celebration comes after years of intense public interest in the couple’s relationship. Holland officially confirmed in June that he and Zendaya were already married, although both actors have continued to keep details about their wedding largely private. The Surrey gathering therefore appears to have been a chance for their wider circle to celebrate their marriage without turning the occasion into a major public spectacle.
Tom Holland and Zendaya Keep Their Surrey Wedding Celebration Private
Beaverbrook Hotel provided a secluded setting for the reported celebration, with the luxury property located in the Surrey Hills near Holland’s hometown of Kingston upon Thames. Harper’s Bazaar (source) reports that the estate spans roughly 470 acres and features 56 rooms and suites, combining a historic country-house setting with modern luxury.
According to PEOPLE, the gathering had a natural theme, with Holland’s brothers Sam, Harry and Paddy among those present. The brothers reportedly stayed in cottages across the estate and wore black tuxedos decorated with small wildflowers, adding a relaxed countryside touch to the celebration. Representatives for Holland, Zendaya and Beaverbrook Hotel had not immediately commented on the reported event.
The celebration also adds another chapter to a relationship that has been closely followed since the actors first worked together on Spider-Man: Homecoming. Although romance rumors surrounded them for years, their relationship was publicly confirmed in 2021 after photographs showed the pair kissing in a car.
Their engagement became public in early 2025 after Zendaya appeared at the Golden Globes wearing a prominent diamond ring. Wedding speculation intensified throughout 2026, particularly after stylist Law Roach claimed in March that the couple had already married. Zendaya was later photographed wearing what appeared to be a wedding band at the 2026 Oscars.
Holland eventually ended much of the speculation himself. During an interview with Esquire (source), he discussed AI-generated photographs that falsely depicted the couple’s wedding and revealed that his relatives knew the images were fake because they had attended the real ceremony.
When asked whether he had to explain the situation to other family members, Holland simply said,
“No, because they were all there.”
He then made it clear that he intended to keep the rest of the ceremony private, adding,
“That’s all you’ll get on that.”
The actor has since openly referred to Zendaya as his wife, including during a July appearance on the Dish podcast.
Zendaya has also explained why she prefers not to publicly discuss every aspect of their relationship. During The New York Times’ Modern Love podcast, she acknowledged the intense public interest surrounding the couple but said she wants to preserve parts of their relationship for themselves.
“I’m also a very private person, and I try my best to be able to have things for myself and for him as well,”
Zendaya said.
That approach makes the reported Beaverbrook celebration particularly fitting for the couple. Rather than staging a heavily publicized celebrity wedding, Holland and Zendaya appear to have prioritized family, close friends and privacy while marking an important milestone together.
