The last chapter of Yumeochi: Dreaming of Falling For You was released on August 27, 2023, which was after a week’s break. This Chapter finally added some progress to Chono and Asakura’s relationship, which was long overdue in the series(since Chapter 3). Now that the fun and games are over, it’s time to get back to studies!

The chapter opens up with Asakura drowning in the pool. She struggles to breathe and move while the thoughts of how she ruined her health to get a fit body cover her consciousness. Chono dives into the pool and manages to get Asakura out of it, but he finds that she isn’t responding now. He panicked and started shouting for a lifeguard to quickly check her, but no one listened.
Meanwhile, Asakura wakes up in her bed and starts wondering what happened to her in the dream because she remembers she was drowning when Chono came to rescue her. She tries to fall asleep to see what happened next, but she fails, which makes her wonder if she died in her dreams.
Chono keeps trying to get Asakura up, but all his efforts fail. He feels a bit relieved after hearing Asakura breathe, so he decides to go for mouth-to-mouth CPR.
Asakura suddenly wakes up and starts wondering if her lips touched Chono’s lips. She thinks that she must be imagining things, and so she ignores it.
Chono asks her if she’s feeling okay, but Asakura says that, more importantly, she wants to know if he did something to her. Chono says no, and so Asakura thanks him for saving her. He says that it’s no big deal because that’s what anyone else would have done.
Chono then asks Asakura what’s wrong with her this day, which makes her shocked, and so she says that it’s nothing. Chono tells her to stop lying because he can see the bags under her eyes and her toned body. Asakura ignores all of Chono’s remarks and feels happy that he noticed her body. Chono says that he was able to see her due to her clothes.
Asakura starts calling Chono a pervert because he was checking her out in her dress, but Chono argues that he was just worried about her because she lost so much weight recently. Asakura says that it’s no big deal because they are just dreaming, but Chono says that their bodies in their dream would have some effect on their real life too.
Chono asks Asakura to let him help her diet because he has been helping Omura and Tateha in their studies, too, so he feels like he should help Asakura too.
Asakura says that it’s rude to ask a girl about dieting, but Chono says that it would be fun if he made a workout regimen and a diet plan for her. Asakura feels happy for a bit because she thinks Chono will make food for her, but she realizes that probably won’t happen, so she refuses his offer.
Omura has been watching all this drama unfold from a distance because she bought some ice creams for Chono and Asakura. Omura also saw Chono and Asakura coming close to each other, so she wondered if they really kissed. She thinks that it’s impossible, and so she forgets about it.
After a while, Chono and everyone leave the pool. Asakura whispers in Omura’s ear to ask her to stop sleeping and studying. A few days pass by, and the study camp finally begins!
