Young Actors’ Retreat, a freshly launched Korean reality program, has become popular among fans of K-drama. The show is developed specifically for you if you want to see your favorite K-drama stars interact. The entertainment show Young Actors’ Retreat is known as Cheongchun MT in Korea. The program, which debuted on September 16th, 2022, has already produced seven episodes and is doing well.
The South Korean filmmaker Kim Seong Yoon was the first member of the group to propose the concept for this series. When Seong Yoon first announced that he was working on a travel-themed entertainment project, word spread quickly. After then, it was revealed that the producer was developing a TV program starring the actors from the shows he had previously worked on.
Seven episodes, each lasting an average of 65 minutes, have been released yet. The performers play games, go on trips together, meet new people, and generally simply enjoy themselves on the program. The appeal of the program demonstrates that we will constantly watch our favorite actors simply live and enjoy the moment, regardless of the circumstance. The Cast of Young Actors’ Retreat
The cast of Kim Seong-previously Yoon’s helmed television programs The Sound of Magic, Itaewon Class, and Love in the Moonlight are all present at the Young Actors’ Retreat, a current South Korean entertainment program (2022). On September 9th, 2022, it made its TV debut.
Team Moonlight includes Park Bogum in addition to Kim Joo Young, Jinyoung, Chae Soo Bin, and Kwak Dong Yeon. Along with Park Seo Joon, Ahn Bo Hyun, Kwon Nara, Ryu Kyung Soo, and Lee Joo Young, Team Itaewoon also includes Lee Joo Young. Team Magic is made up of the actors Ji Chang Wook, Choi Sung Eun, Hwang In Youp, Ji Hye Won, and Kim Bo Yun.
Insights from Previous Episodes of Young Actors’ Retreat
“We Met Again” was the title of the first episode. Itaewon in Seoul & Jeonju in Jeollabukdo were the locales visited in this episode. Kim Bo Yun & Kim Yoo Jung, two longtime friends, finally got together in the episode after 11 years apart. The fans had a surprise via Park Bo Gum as well. The games began once the three teams had settled into their villas.
The participants in the second episode, “It’s the first time, but it’s enjoyable,” traveled towards Boryeong near Chungnam, a nearby city to the Yellow Sea. To increase the actors’ chances of meeting new individuals, the three teams were mixed. Teams were distinguished by colors. The three teams—Yellow, Blue, and Red—each with a team commander- were dispatched to play games. The finest supper will be given to the winner.
“A Dramatic Summer Night,” the third episode, was also filmed in Boryeong. The outcome of the prior game was revealed in this episode. The greatest supper of all was served to the victorious squad. The teams were dispatched to an abandoned school for terror training following the results. A penalty was assessed to the side that had lost the previous game.
In Episode 4, all the guests were asked to go to a bathhouse that was filled with ghosts. The participants were supposed to enter the bathhouse and take as many mission notepads as they could. Park Seo Joon succeeds in completing the mission. Whereas Ryu Kyung Soo got scared of the ghosts, and a different side of him was shown to the viewers. The losing team was made to prepare the brunch for all the members.
By the end of the episode, Ahn Bo Hyun gave a surprise entry when the cast was getting ready for an action-packed tour. With its humorous flying chair & water bomb game, Episode 5 takes a nostalgic turn. Episode 5 of Young Actors’ Retreat delivers an abundance of joy and humor, actually living up to its pledge of feel-good moments! They continued their march of games.
Authentic Conversations, “Water-Bomb-Flying-Chair” Participation and Enjoyable Charades between Team Magic and Team Itaewoon make Episode 6 Charming. The group gets together for a barbecue dinner where Seo-Joon & Park Bo Gum demonstrate their grilling skills as the members become more comfortable with one another through conversation.
The younger performers are especially well-cared for by Seo-Joon and Bo-Hyun, who provide them with additional meals. A few of the members even reveal their MBTI, ranging from trifling to humorous. Yoo-Jung is an INTJ, Cha Soo Bin is an INFP, and Kin Bo Yoon is an ESTJ. In Episode 7, the names and menu for each team’s tent bar are chosen.
Team Magic orders fried chicken, stir-fried sundae, and entrails; Team Moonlight orders shredded potato jeon with Bibim-guksu, and Team Itaewon chooses to offer gambas al ajillo alongside upper-blade steak. Yoo-Jung, a master chef on Squad Moonlight, is in charge of her team whilst Team Itaewon & Team Magic look for outside counsel. Things began to go amiss here and there right when everyone believed they were prepared to open for business.
