On February 12th, the ‘YOONA FAN MEETING TOUR: YOONITE in YOKOHAMA’ took place at the Pacifico Yokohama National Convention Hall in Yokohama, Japan. The event drew a full house, including limited-view seats, with over 5,000 fans in attendance, highlighting Yoona’s robust local popularity.
Yoona kicked off the stage with her solo song ‘When The Wind Blows,’ which debuted in Japanese during her 2018 fan meeting in Japan, receiving enthusiastic responses. She warmly addressed the audience in Japanese, without requiring translation.
The fan meeting was dynamic, featuring a Q&A session where Yoona personally responded to fans’ inquiries, special Polaroid photo gifts, various challenges, photo sessions with diverse poses, and lively performances of Girls’ Generation dances, enhancing communication and connection with the audience.
Yoona also delighted fans by sharing behind-the-scenes anecdotes from her popular works in Japan, such as ‘Kingderland’ and ‘Confidential Assignment,’ which added to the lively atmosphere. She recreated memorable drama scenes onstage and surprised fans with unreleased project photos, creating a meaningful experience for everyone.
At the conclusion of the fan meeting, Yoona conveyed in Japanese her heartfelt message:
