On the 26 September Edition of WWE Raw, Kevin Owens and Johnny Gargano will fight Alpha Academy. Last week, after entering the ring and creating a distraction, Gargano assisted Owens in defeating Austin Theory. Then, after learning that Gargano had hurt their “close, personal friend,” Alpha Academy was furious and decided to exact revenge for Theory.
Seth “Freakin” Rollins will compete against Rey Mysterio, while Matt Riddle will attempt to defeat Judgment Day’s Damian Priest. Last week, Riddle and Rey Mysterio battled Priest and his leader Finn Balor, but they fell short due to Rollins’ interference, which cost them the match. At the forthcoming Extreme Rules PPV, Riddle and Rollins—who have been engaged in an increasingly harsh feud over the past few months—will square off in a fight pit match.
Sami Zayn and AJ Styles will square off after a heated Twitter argument that started when Styles uploaded a photo of Zayn holding the latest Bloodline shirt and said that “people are willing to do anything for T-shirt these days.” In his reply, Zayn said that the shirt had been “given” to him and that by disrespecting it, the man had disrespected the Bloodline. He continued, saying he “doesn’t travel alone,” and adding that he “could simply come to Raw this week to sort everything out.” After that, Styles agreed to take up his challenge and instructed him to “bring the kid” and “his dumb shirt.”

Bianca Belair vs. IYO SKY
First up on WWE Raw on 26 September we have Bianca Belair vs. IYO SKY .The bell rings as SKY asks for a referee. Belair starts out with a dropkick. SKY puts Belair into a corner after the break. Belair hits SKY with a slam before securing a waist lock. She strikes SKY’s belly with numerous shoulders before hitting her with a backbreaker. Belair attempts to pin SKY, but SKY kicks her out. Belair throws down a few right punches, but after landing the double knees to Belair’s jaw, SKY shifts the momentum. She attempts to pin Belair, but he kicks out. SKY completes a sunset flip before attempting a pin but is kicked out by Belair.
Belair hits SKY with a side slam after the break. She then follows it up with a dropkick, a clothesline, and a shoulder tackle. After delivering a delayed vertical suplex, Belair attempts to pin SKY, but he kicks out. SKY kicks Belair in the midsection after stepping on her braid. Belair responds with a bodyslam and a moonsault before attempting to pin SKY, but she is kicked out. SKY kicks Belair in the head before hitting a diving crossbody. After catching her, Belair executes a Fallaway Slam. Belair attempts to pin SKY, but once again SKY kicks her out.
Before SKY performs an arm drag, the two females climb to the top. She performs the running double knees before climbing. Belair hits SKY with a crossbody over the top after putting them in damage control. SKY throws her back into the fight after landing a couple open-handed blows on her. SKY rushes back into the ring, but Belair hits the KOD to secure the victory.
Seth Freakin Rollins vs. Rey Mysterio
Rollins introduces himself before giving the audience a happy Monday Night Rollins. He claims that Matt Riddle is the reason he isn’t in the ring as the new US Champion. He claims that he had Bobby “dead to rights” in the middle of the ring, but Riddle forced him to lose focus, which cost him. He claims Riddle has been an annoyance, but they will settle their differences at Extreme Rules PPV in The Fight Pit.
Seth says that despite the opinion of the general public that he has no chance of winning in The Fight Pit, he came to the realization that because he is Seth “Freakin” Rollins, it makes no difference what kind of match it is because he has competed in and won every single one of them. He points to his brain after saying that he possesses the one thing Riddle will never have. Even though it might be Riddle’s very first time in The Fight Pit, he claims that when the world sings his song, Riddle will be lying flat on his back. In a direct address to Riddle, he threatens to beat Rey Mysterio to the bone since the latter is too cowardly to punish his own son.
Rey Mysterio enters the ring as the music begins to play. Bell rings and their match starts, Mysterio drops kicks Rollins and then unleashes a rain of right punches. Mysterio is whipped by Rollins into the top turnbuckle. He follows with a running knee and then The Three Amigos. Mysterio counters the second vertical suplex into a DDT. Mysterio counters Rollins’ attempt at the Buckle Bomb with a hurricanrana. Mysterio hits the sit out after climbing to the top rope. He hits a crossbody off the ropes before attempting to pin Rollins, but Rollins kicks out. When Rollins attempts to hit Mysterio with the 619 after being sent into the middle rope, Rollins catches him and hits him with the Buckle Bomb instead.
When Rollins attempts to use the Curb Stomp, Mysterio blocks him and knocks him out of the ring. He throws Rollins back in the ring after delivering a slide thru the bottom rope. He dives off the top and delivers a splash. He then tries to pin Rollins, but Rollins kicks out. Mysterio kicks Rollin in the back with a dropkick before turning to look for the 619 once more. Rollins pushes him into the canvas with his face after moving out of the way. He climbs to the top, but Mysterio is waiting for him. He first throws a hurricane before hitting a 619. Mysterio awaits Rollins outside before hitting him with another punch from the apron.
Dominik reaches for a chair and throws it Mysterio’s way. He requests another hit from Mysterio with it. When Mysterio refuses, Rhea Ripley unexpectedly appears behind him and hits him. As a result, Rollins can use the Curb Stomp and apply the Peruvian Neck Tie submission to which Mysterio fades out and Seth secures the win.
Alpha Academy vs Johnny Gargano and Kevin Owens
Then on 26 September show of WWE Raw we see Alpha Academy vs Johnny Gargano and Kevin Owens. Gable and Gargano start the action. The two lock up as the bell rings. Gargano trips Gable, who then responds with a shoulder tackle. Before the two men tag in their teammates, Gargano hits a drop kick. Otis attempts a shoulder tackle, but Owens refuses to make one. Following a drop kick from Owens, Gable enters. Following a back elbow, Owens does a senton and moonsault. Owens attempts to pin Gable, but he kicks him out. Gargano enters after Owens has already delivered a lariat. Before Otis tags in, Gargano throws a spear. Otis applies a Military Press to drive Gargano straight to the mat.
Otis throws Gargano into a corner when they return from the break. Gargano kicks him in the face after tagging in Gable. He then hot tags Owens, who hits Gable with an atomic drop and a kick. He throws a back elbow first, then a cannonball. Gable raises his knees in opposition to Owens’ attempt at a Swanton Bomb. Gable appears to take off, but Owens avoids the impact and locks in the Sharpshooter. Otis breaks it up and urges the crowd to “suck it.” Gable receives a head kick from Gargano after tagging in. Returning to the fight, Owens drops the Swanton Bomb. Owens attempts to pin Gable, but he kicks him out.
Before Gargano tags in, Gable strikes with a German Suplex. Gable performs a Northern Lights Suplex. The two hit the electric chair after Otis tags in. He attempts to pin him, but Owens stops him. Owens pushes Owens into the ring post after moving out of the way. He stands him up on the commentary desk and launches an elbow through the table. Gargano hits with a lariat in the ring. Theory suddenly appears to create confusion, allowing Gable to strike the Chaos Theory. He attempts to pin Gargano, who kicks out. With a super kick and a DDT over-the-top-rope, Gargano eliminates Theory and then secures the victory.
AJ Styles vs. Sami Zayn
The two lock up as the bell rings. Before putting the one, Zayn executes a shoulder tackle. Styles perform a dropkick and a hurricanrana. After giving Zayn a chop, he launches him into the top turnbuckle head first. Zayn performs a back body drop before attempting a pin, but Styles kicks out just in time. Off the middle rope, Zayn elbows Styles in the face before throwing him out of the ring. To knock Styles out, Zayn leaps off the middle rope. He throws the opponent back into the ring before attempting a pin, but Styles kicks out. Following a series of forearms and back elbows, Styles applies a sliding lariat.
Zayn delivers a chop after returning from the break. When Styles tries to use the Phenomenal Forearm, Zayn moves out of the way. Zayn locks out as Styles rolls him up. Zayn responds to Styles’ suplex into the center turnbuckle with a massive kick and a Blue Thunderbomb. He attempts to pin Styles, but Styles kicks out. After receiving a forearm from Zayn, Styles responds with several of his own. He uses an altered Orange Crush to knock Styles to the mat. He then attempts to pin Styles, but Styles kicks out again. Before Zayn drives Styles through the ringpost and through the timekeeper’s area, the two men dip outside.
Zayn throws an Exploder in the corner after coming back from the break. He prepares to deliver the Helluva Kick, but Styles exits the ring first. Before Styles holds in the Calf Crusher, Zayn throws him back in. Zayn successfully reaches the bottom rope and breaks the submission. Sikoa attacks Styles with a Uranage just on apron as the referee is distracted. This enables Zayn to score the winning Helluva Kick.
Judgment Day’s music starts playing after the match, and the four enter the ring. With a microphone in hand, Balor expresses his grief at seeing Styles in such a condition. He says that the result of the match might have been different had Styles taken their offer. Balor believes that Styles deserves better and that because he is kind, he should get up and take part in Judgment Day.
Styles accepts Balor’s offer to lend a hand as he helps him stand. Styles attempts to repay Balor’s gesture by throwing up the Too Sweet, but instead, he flips him off. He is attacked by Balor and the rest of Judgment Day. Balor appears to be about to stomp on the man’s neck as they place his head into a chair, but he holds back.
Matt Riddle vs. Damian Priest
When the bell rings, the two lock the door. Prior to the two locking up once more, Priest pushes Riddle to the ground. Priest drives Riddle to the mat in order to break the hold after Riddle locks in a sleeper that he later converts into a Kimura. Priest knocks Riddle to the ground before Riddle responds with the Broton. Priest kicks out when Matt tries to pin him. Priest kicks Riddle in the face before throwing him into a corner. Before Priest can throw Riddle headfirst into the barricade, Riddle is able to knock Priest out of the ring.
When Priest returns from the break, he already has a shoulder submission in place. Riddle makes his escape and fires off a string of quick chops. Riddle strikes Priest with a ripcord knee, a belly-to-back suplex, a kick to the chest, and a kick. He launches himself off the ropes before landing a knee and a powerbomb. Priest kicks out when Matt tries to pin him. Riddle climbs to the top but is pushed outside by Priest. He launches him into the barricade.
When Priest returns from the break, he already has a shoulder submission in place. Riddle makes his escape and fires off a string of quick chops. Riddle strikes Priest with a ripcord knee, a belly-to-back suplex, a kick to the chest, and a kick. He launches himself off the ropes before landing a knee and a powerbomb. Priest kicks out when Matt tries to pin him. Riddle climbs to the top but is pushed outside by Priest. He launches him into the outside barricade.
Judgment Day immediately begins targeting Riddle after the match. Riddle receives a chokeslam from Priest. Edge returns when his music starts playing! He whacks Priest and Balor with spears before seizing a microphone. He says that despite numerous attempts by Judgment Day to eliminate him, he keeps coming back. He says that he doesn’t quit before inviting Balor to an I Quit Match at WWE Extreme Rules PPV.
