Bianca Belair, the “Raw” Women’s Champion, will compete against Bayley, the Damage CTRL leader, in a non-title match. Last week, “The Role Model” made it clearly plain that she was still focusing on Belair. When they see one other again, which woman will prevail?
The O.C.’s Karl Anderson and Judgment Day’s Finn Balor will engage in a one-on-one fight. When Anderson and his tag team teammate Luke Gallows came back to WWE two weeks earlier to help AJ Styles, they stunned the professional wrestling world. The six guys then had a match set up between the two groups for the forthcoming Crown Jewel PPV on November 5 in Saudi Arabia last week to resolve their issues.
Here are all the WWE Raw 24 October Results:
Karl Anderson vs. Finn Balor
Rhea Ripley claims that AJ Styles learned last week that Judgment Day rules on Monday Night “Raw.” Dominik Mysterio is now just a man, according to her. Finn Balor claims that before Priest told the crowd to stand up and respect Mysterio, Styles broke under the pressure of the villain. Mysterio claims that only Judgment Day had ever had faith in him, and with his victory last week, he proved everyone. He refers to himself as “this era’s Eddie Guerrero” and claims to be physically unique.’
When The O.C.’s music starts, the trio descends to the ring. Styles demands Mysterio to stop talking and claims Charlotte can identify quality wrestling. As Gallows and Anderson enter the ring, he declares that he represents the “generation of James Ellsworth.” Before stating that their match should begin immediately, Anderson tells Balor it’s time to quit talking.
The two lock up as the bell rings. Balor delivers a drop kick after striking a back elbow. Balor strikes Anderson after the break. Anderson responds with a drop kick to Balor’s leg as he whips him into a corner. After landing a step-up knee and then another kick to the knee, Anderson executed a Dragon Screw from the middle rope. He attempts to pin Balor, who kicks out. Balor successfully escapes Anderson’s leg submission attempt and repeatedly elbows Anderson in the back of the head. Balor hits a neckbreaker before trying to pin Anderson, however, Anderson kicks out.
Anderson throws a running powerbomb off the top after returning from another break. He attempts to pin Balor, who kicks out. After elbowing a running back, Anderson raises Balor to his shoulders. Balor makes his escape and elbows Anderson in the chest, sending him to the ground. Before Styles levels the referee, Mysterio distracts his attention. Before Rhea Ripley knocks him out by throwing him into the ring post and finishing him off with a bodyslam, Priest tosses him over the barricade and into the timekeeper’s section. Balor is able to score the victory with a low blow thanks to another diversion Mysterio creates.
R-Truth vs. The Miz
The Miz is holding a microphone when he returns from the break. He claims that Gargano accused him of hiding a secret and claims that he is correct. He explains “the facts” of his continuous disputes with Dexter Lumis before promising to fill in the gaps for the viewers. He claims that Lumis has been pursuing him due to his mentality. He claims his knowledge is unmatched and claims that Lumis became envious when he decided to share his knowledge with Ciampa. Apparently, The Miz misses Ciampa.
He is being cut off by Johnny Gargano, who calls him full of crap. He claims that because he is so full of himself, he is unaware that Ciampa is hurt rather than missing. He asserts that he must be honest if Miz wants to cut him and Lumis out of his life. He claims to have a whistle that he won’t hesitate to use, but Miz claims that he has only been told the truth.
Rapper R-Truth enters the ring as music starts playing. Charlotte is instructed to create noise by Truth, who then declares that he is present because he wanted to convey the truth. Before Miz asks whether he’s lost his mind, Gargano declares that he has a point. Miz criticizes North Carolina before Truth interrupts him and declares that he won’t criticize his hometown. He issues a challenge, which Miz accepts after Gargano offers him some “encouragement.”
When the bell rings, Miz sneaks up behind Truth and attacks. Before Truth lands an atomic drop, he hits multiple stomps. Miz strikes him with a large boot, a knee towards the back of his head, then another big boot. Truth responds with two back elbows before pinning Miz. Miz strikes a running knee before spotting a hooded someone who appears to be Dexter Lumis in the crowd. Truth capitalizes on the diversion and rolls up Miz to win. Johnny Gargano exposes himself to be the hooded spectator in the crowd.
Austin Theory vs. Mustafa Ali
The two men lock up as the bell rings. Before Theory tackles him and kicks him in the midsection, they trade submissions. Ali is choked by Theory on the middle rope before being thrown headfirst into the top turnbuckle. He repeatedly shoulders Ali in the midsection before attempting a pin, but Ali kicks out. Dropkick by Ali. The two men spill outside before Theory throws his head off the announcer’s desk and performs a DDT from the apron.
Ali is sent outside when Theory returns from the break. He throws him back in after sending his head crashing off the apron. Ali drops kicks Theory, knocking him to the ground while Theory takes a photo of himself. He delivers a 450 splash before kicking him in the jaw and neckbreaking him. He attempts to pin Ali, but Ali pushes him out. Ali strikes with a superkick and then a Tornado DDT. He attempts to pin Theory, but Theory breaks out.
Ali climbs to the top and attempts a second 450 Splash, but Theory avoids it. Ali kicks out after Theory strikes a modified Brainbuster and attempts to pin him. While Theory searches for A-Town Down, Ali escapes and executes a backstabber. He gets to the top and prepares to land a 450 splash, but Rollins rushes in, giving Theory the opportunity to stomp the top rope and score the winning A-Town Down.
As Rollins throws Ali out of the ring following the match, Theory makes his way to the back. He throws him further into the timekeeper’s section after telling him to stay down. Ali stands up once more, and Rollins takes him into the audience, where he falls into a chair and a pile of posters. Ali attacks Rollins from the blindside as he moves to the back. He throws him against the screen after firing off a number of right hands.
Elias vs. Gable
The two lock up when the bell rings. Before Elias executes a body smash and an arm drag, they trade submissions. Gable kicks out as Elias attempts to backslide. He performs a vertical suplex, then attempts to pin Gable, but he kicks out. Elias runs the ropes, but as the referee is preoccupied, Otis low-bridges the top rope, sending Elias to fall to the outside.
When Gable returns after the break, he hits the top rope with a diving head butt. He attempts to pin Elias, who kicks out. Elias begins by throwing a number of right and left hands before landing two back elbows and then a splash in the corner. Elias manages to escape after Gable grabs the Ankle Lock. Elias kicks out when Gable attempts to pin him after lifting him up onto his shoulders and applying a modified DDT. He attempts to moonsault off the top, but Elias stops him in mid-air with a knee. He attempts to pin Gable, but he kicks him out. Elias executes a massive boot and a modified Tornado DDT to secure the victory.
Following the match, Otis attacks Elias. Gable starts to participate, but Matt Riddle’s music starts to play, and he sprints to the arena to make the save. We then make our way to The O.C. in the hospital area backstage. Before Gallows declares he’s “good with ladies” and can handle her, they claim to have a Rhea Ripley problem. Before Styles and Anderson can comment that he is bad with women, he goes away.
Baron Corbin vs. Johnny Gargano
When the bell rings, Corbin pushes Gargano into a corner. He rushes at him, but Gargano dodges his approach. However, Corbin kicks out as he is being rolled up. Gargano performs a tope suicida, a drop kick, and then a hurricanrana. With a right hand, Corbin causes Gargano to fall to the floor before throwing him, spine first, into the ring post. He throws him back into the ring and strikes him with a knee to the midsection before landing a splash. Gargano responds with a rolling elbow after Corbin strikes with a right hand.
When Corbin returns from the break, he knees Gargano numerous times in the middle. He knocks him down with a neckbreaker before attempting to pin him, but Gargano kicks out. With a step-up enziguri and a spear through into the middle rope, Gargano strikes back. He attempts to pin Corbin, but he kicks him out. Corbin attempts a Fallaway Slam, but Gargano rolls him up instead. Before Gargano can execute a flurry of right and left punches, Corbin kicks out. Corbin hits the deep six and attempts to pin Gargano, however, Gargano kicks out.
Corbin catches Gargano as he searches for a tope suicida and dumps him. Gargano responds with a superkick before launching him onto the ring steps and confronting JBL. He snatches his cowboy hat, appears to be wearing it, and makes fun of him. He does a Tornado DDT followed by an enziguri. JBL knocks Gargano off his legs on the ringside apron so that Corbin can score the winning End of Days.
After the break, we return and go see The Miz and Gargano backstage. Gargano receives a get well card from The Miz for Candice LeRae. Gargano expresses his gratitude before The Miz advises them to put their problems behind them because they’ve both had a difficult evening. Then, Gargano threatens to do it for him the next week if he doesn’t expose the truth to the WWE Universe.
Bayley vs. Bianca Belair
The two women lock up as the bell rings. They trade submissions until Bayley elbows them in the back. Belair responds with a bodyslam, followed by a shoulder tackle and a forearm from Bayley. She attempts to pin Belair, but he kicks her out. Belair performs a suplex and then attempts another, but Bayley blocks it and executes a crossface. Belair makes his escape and strikes with her back. Belair delivers a crossbody well over the top rope to knock out Bayley after she rolls to the outside.
Bayley strikes Belair’s neck with a sliding lariat when she returns from the break. The two fall to the ground before Bayley suplexes them. She attempts to pin Belair, but she kicks out. Bayley kicks out after Belair rolls her up. Belair delivers a few of her right hands before Bayley strikes Belair’s head repeatedly in the corner. Despite her efforts, Bayley manages to get away. Bayley strikes Belair’s left arm with a series of stomps. Belair slips out of the way as the woman reaches for an elbow.
When Bayley returns from a break, she searches for a KOD. Belair makes his way free and plants the Bayley-to-Belly on Bayley. She attempts to pin Bayley, but Bayley breaks out. Belair then throws Bayley against the ring steps after the pair spills to the outside.
While Bayley throws Belair outside, Dakota and IYO clean the announcer’s desk. Bayley is caught by Belair, who then drops a powerbomb onto the announcer’s desk. Bayley is sent flying into the apron after she strikes a second one against the ring post. She throws Bayley back into the ring, but Kai and SKY knock her down while the referee was preoccupied.
Before Nikki Cross appears out of nowhere and hits Kai, SKY, and the referee with a crossbody off the ring post, the referee grabs them and moves to the outside to remove them. Bayley searches for Rose Plant in the ring, but Belair reverses into the KOD. She attempts to pin her, but nobody is present to witness the fall. Belair is knocked into the ring post shoulder first by Cross, who then performs The Purge, letting Bayley pin her and win the match. After the match, Cross repeatedly right-hands Bayley to the ground. She strikes her with her jacket before unleashing a barrage of right hands. As the show ends, she keeps her head high.
