Wish Upon a Husband Chapter 17, Recap.
In the previous chapter of Wish Upon A Husband, we got to see Renea and Beldemer exchanging a few moments of romantic words before going to sleep.
Beldemer then followed the by-the-book method asking a wife how her day was and then listening attentively. Renea hears this question and ponders for a moment and thinks about what to say, and decides to use this moment to talk about the red gemstone that she got from Beldemer, which Renea suspects was stolen by a maid in the guild.
Beldemer says that the red gem is actually a bloody sapphire that was made by fusing with his blood, and it doesn’t matter if it’s lost because he can always sense and summon it if Beldemer is near it.
Then Beldemer says to Renea not to worry about it much and that the blood gem is better as a necklace on Renea’s neck, but their moments of a romance suddenly get interrupted by Shapiro’s arrival, who is Beldemer’s familiar.
Later Renea asks her servant for ways to disciple a familiar because Shapiro is always interrupting Renea’s romantic moments with Beldermer. And this time, Renea is dead set on making sure she teaches Shapiro a lesson. Seeing Renea’s determination, the servant explains to her how to get rid of a familiar in detail.
We also got to learn how familiars are formed in this chapter, and they are entities that are made by condensing an immense amount of magic.
