Rising of the Shield Hero also known as Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari is one of the greatest isekai anime with the concept of RPG video game. Who is Spirit Tortoise in Rising of the Shield Hero?
Spirit Tortoise is a giant, mountain-sized Beast and great trouble for humanity. He is even a great threat than the waves of calamity and one of the Guardian Beasts. This beast carries a city called Reiki on his back and can emit a very powerful electric blow from his mouth. Apart from this, it also has terrifying gravity magic which can torment its opponents and foes. The tortoise whenever feels cornered, can summon reinforcement like Yetis, Zombies, Bats, etc. It can be a grave mistake to anyone who thinks Spirit Tortoise is slow and can be cornered in fact the tortoise also has its rage form.
Will Naofumi be Able To Defeat Spirit Tortoise?
Spirit Tortoise is nearly considered an immortal. In order to defeat him, our heroes must destroy him from his inner core. The core gives access to the heart and head of the tortoise and it is very important to keep in mind that a single mistake can be our hero’s last mistake. Naofumi has to work with his company to deal with him and there’s nearly impossible for him to defeat the spirit tortoise single-handedly.
If we take the reference from the manga volume 6, Rishia broke the cage of the tortoise that was guarding the core and also freed our heroes. Naofumi, then uses his recently gained shield and destroys the core, and finally killed it for the sake of humanity. This way, he also saved Melromarc Town from getting crushed by Tortoise. In volume 7, our heroes fight with the remaining families of tortoises and look for the rest of the heroes.
