Besides this, Jon also appeared as the analyst for the airing of Monday Night Football on ESPN for several years. More specifically, that was from 2009 to 2017.

Reason Behind Jon Gruden Getting Fired Revealed
Jon Gruden got fired from his position as the head coach of the Las Vegas Raiders after his email scandal was publicized. He stepped down because of his homophobic and misogynistic comments to denigrate people around the game. Well, this was accompanied by his earlier report of racist remarks about Roger Goodell and some of the other team members. Not to forget to mention, his email from 2011 was also found where he used a racist term to DeMaurice Smith, sent to Bruce Allen. However, he appeared to be ashamed of the same.
Do you know this is not just the end? We are very much aware of the fact that Jon Gruden and Bruce Allen have always been very close. As mentioned already, most of the nasty comments were found in their emails. It also included a few pictures of women, more specifically, the cheerleaders of the Washington team, wearing just bikini bottoms.
Doing this, Jon Gruden just didn’t lose his job but earned massive hatred from many of his fans. They are not his fans anymore. It was his thoughts and opinion that gave him a bad image. It was more like workplace misconduct. We wonder if Jon Gruden is still this insensitive and narrow-minded person. On the other hand, he shared that he didn’t mean anything, but it was very causally said.
About his departure from the team, Jon Gruden also made it to his Twitter account, stating, “I have resigned as Head Coach of the Las Vegas Raiders.” In addition to this, he mentioned that he still loved the football team and didn’t want any distractions. He thanked all the players, staff members, other coaches, and fans, stating that it was not intentional and that he didn’t want to hurt anyone. In case you don’t know, Rich Bisaccia replaced him as the interim coach.
The owner of the Las Vegas Raider, Mark Davis, accepted his resignation as he realized that Jon’s racist comments were very much disturbing. The former also shared that it wasn’t something that his football team stands for.
