A few months ago, SF9’s agency, FNC Entertainment, confirmed the news of Rowoon’s departure from the group. He made his debut back in 2016. Therefore, the Kpop idol left after staying associated for 7 long years.

Reason Behind Rowoon Leaving SF9 Revealed
The major reason behind Rowoon’s departure from the Kpop group- SF9 was his willingness to focus on his acting career. As mentioned earlier, he remained associated with music for several years.
It was the time when he thought of trying out something else. Having done a few acting projects, Rowoon wanted to try out more characters and see how it went. There is nothing to be disappointed as we will be able to see Rowoon’s other side.
Despite leaving SF9, Rowoon has confirmed to stay with the agency. There has been no separation in that case. FNC Entertainment announced that he left it to “focus on individual activities including acting.” On the other hand, the other members just renewed their contracts.
What did Rowoon say? As previously shared, he apologized to his fans. He penned a long note. He started it by saying, “I think I have become slightly more familiar with being more strict on myself while taking on scheduled activities and taking on new challenges.” Why did he apologize? Well, Rowoon did that to those who “were hurt and felt upset at my complacent attitude.”
Rowoon concluded his speech by saying that he would be grateful to his fans if they continued to watch over him with affection and support him in his new challenge.
