The new season number 38 of The Challenge is around the corner, and this season is set to be sharper than ever. Perhaps this season will put a test on personal relationships. The show The Challenge: Ride or Die started with loaded members of seventeen teams that included Emmy Russ and Nam Vo. After his sudden exit from Spies, Lies, and Allies last season, he is back for more, and this time he is not alone; along with him, he brought his good pal, Emmy Russ, to compete in the new season of the Challenge. Unfortunately for her, she did not last very long in the show and quit after the very first mission; since then, Emmy has described her decision as why she left early and bashed the fake cast involved.
Nam Vo Makes A Return With A New Partner; Who Is His Partner, Emmy Russ?
Nam selected Emmy to compete in the game with him against some serious players. The two of them looked exact opposites. Emmy had an outspoken, energetic aura. On the other hand, Nam has a calm and composed demeanor.
Emmy, 23, is an actress and a model from Hamburg, Germany, who is making a debut in season 38 of The Challenge, but she has experience when it comes to reality television shows. Previously, she was seen in Big Brother and Beauty and the Nerd, a show from Germany. She was also seen as herself in Promi Big Brother, an international television show which is somewhat similar to America’s Celebrity Big Brother and Secret Story, a Spanish Reality show.
Nam is Back After Early Departures In The Last Two Seasons
The long-time fans of the show are aware of what Nam has done in the past, and he has been seen competing two times in the show after coming on Ultimate Beat master. Unfortunately for him, his attempts at winning the prize money were a failure.
In Double Agents, the first season, he was compelled to quit the game in between due to his back injury. Then later, in Spies, Lies, and Allies, he left the show without any possible explanation. Later, he was told that he was leaving the show because he got COVID positive.
On Instagram, he asked his fans to trust him through the hardest time he had to go through in his life, and he explained that he was heartbroken and completely devastated and wished that no one had to go through the experience that he had gone through.
Emmy Russ Leaves The Show Before Getting Started On
We all saw Nam had a stroke of bad luck in the two seasons of the show The Challenge, and it looks like his unlucky line is still on the rise in Ride or Die. Again, his departure was not his fault. According to the spoilers from Reddit, in the second episode of the ongoing season, Emmy exits the show, and her decision to leave the show disqualifies Nam. Emer Harkin, the showrunner, discussed with Entertainment Weekly that the return of Nam was shocking. Harkin teased that they had got a surprise appearance of VO that would shock all the viewers, and stopped there and chose not to reveal anything.
It is believed that she was taken to Argentina with everyone else, and right before the filming, she was chosen as an alternative. Later, she felt the cast was not welcoming her and noticed a change in Nam’s behavior, so she thought the friendship was fake. All this led to her exiting the show. She claims that people on the show were manufactured, including the host (TC). She was introduced in the show as the reality TV queen of Germany but was utterly ignored and put in a team with someone who wouldn’t let her talk.
It is still unclear what was why Emmy left the show before even getting started. Hopefully, fans will learn more about her departure when the episode releases.
