Puss In Boots is finally coming back to your screens after 12 years., with “Puss In Boots: The Last Wish”. But strangely, fans are much more curious to see the villains. DreamWorks has done an outstanding job when it comes to the villains.
Whenever you think of a villain, you’ll automatically have an image in mind of the same. A dark aura character, with battle scars and Shinning red eyes staring you down from the darkness. A presence so intimidating that it leaves you petrified.
Our main villain for the sequel is Death himself. And as the character explains it to the Puss, he literally is death. No pun intended there. So, as you might know, it is said that a cat has nine lives. But our Puss here has already lost 8 of his nine lives and is down to the last.
The sequel will follow our Puss in search of a legend of last wish in order to get back what he has lost over these years i.e his life. Here’s a trailer for the upcoming Puss In Boots The Last Wish:

Who Is The Villain In Puss In Boots 2?
The sequel doesn’t have one but multiple villains in it. As in the trailer, we can see there are two main villains that Puss in boots will have to take on. One is Goldielocks, along with Big Jack Horner, and, last and the deadliest of all the Death.
Now you will find these villains very different from each other. For example, death is after Puss and chasing him throughout the runtime of the movie. His intentions and Vibe are very different. You’ll find that his aura is dark. Every time he appears, he will threaten Puss’ life.
What’s more interesting is that his intentions are not known to the audience until the climax, which makes him even more mysterious and dangerous at the same time. Overall when you look at his appearance, dialogue, and voice (Which is the highlight of the movie), he just seems a worthy villain.
On the other hand, Goldielocks is much more compassionate. Her main goal is to get that last wish for herself. So that she can get back her family, this motivation and relentless pursuit of the wish makes her a much more likable villain. Just in a different way than death. Accompanied by the Bear family that’s famous in the crime circle.
Cast Of Puss In Boots: The Last Wish:
Now let’s take a look at the cast of Puss In Boots 2, which makes the movie and its character even more real, helping the audience connect with the characters more and feel their emotions.
Starting from our protagonists:
Antonio Banderas as Puss In Boots, Salma Hayek As Kitty Softpaws, Harvey Guillen as Pero, and Anthony Mendez as The Doctor
Now the main reason for the hype of the film i.e., its Villains:
Wagner Moura as Death/ Big Bad Wolf, Florence Pugh As Goldielocks, John Mulaney as Jack Horner, Olivia Colman as Mama Bear, Samson Kayo as Baby Bear, and Ray Winston as Papa Bear
The highlight of this voice cast is obviously Wagner Moura, who voiced Death, and he has done an excellent job bringing life to the role of death. The way he brings his Spanish side to the character and his delivery of dialogue makes it memorable.
If we look at the dialogues, they are pretty much the way an average villain would speak, But Wagner’s voice makes it so much better with his Pablo Escobar voice. Not to mention the other voice actors have also done a phenomenal job, be it Florence pugh or the chemistry between Salma Hayek’s kitty soft paws and Antonio’s Puss.
While these actors make the movie memorable, it is worth mentioning Harvey’s performance of Pero. Tagging along with Puss In Boots’s adventure to the last wish, claiming to be his therapist, plays a huge comic role in the movie.
