The 47-year-old American actor was tightly defined by his character, Steve Urkel, in Family Matters. Thus, he reportedly struggled to find other roles after the show ended.
Jaleel has a 14-year-old daughter named Samaya from his previous relationship, who he considers his treasure. He often shares his photos with her on Instagram and does not leave a chance to spend time with her because he knows she will require her own space after getting old.

Jaleel played the famous character, Steve Urkel, who planned only for a guest appearance. However, people loved the character, and the makers made it a full-time gave him a full-time leading role. He was new in the film industry and an unwelcome cast member because his role was supposed to end shortly.
Michelle reportedly came ahead and supported Jaleel morally. Moreover, she helped him find his lady love after seeing him struggling to do so. She remained in touch with Jalee and his family after the series ended, which tightened their bond.

Jaleel and Christine dated when their shows were on TGIF, but their break-up date. She married actor Brandon Breault in October 2014 and gave birth to their first child, a daughter named Georgia James, after two years, and a son named Baylor B. Breault in 2018. However, she claimed Jaleel to be her first boyfriend.
